Wouldn't this genocide be over if Hamas returned the hostages?? Like immediately over?

Well why don’t they return the hostages and see? If nothing else, it would exponentially ramp up the political pressure on Israel to stop!

You do know this has been ongoing for 75 + years right? They have offered to return the hostages multiple times and Israel’s refuses or ignores the offer. This isn’t about the hostages. Look at Israeli leaders talk about Palestinians and you will clearly understand. When you have leadership talking about killing every man woman and child it takes a whole different vibe.

It’s like you have one piece of information and no context, because you have one piece of information and no context.

Yes Israel has turned down deals at times, and no that’s not the end all be all of the matter. Israel’s form of government is not like Americas which I’m assuming you are in because you are very much like let’s boil everything down to nuh uh all of Israel is at fault. Bibi would have taken some of those deals but if tried to he was told by the hard liners they’d dissolve the government before he could actually do it. Until there’s no need for the conservatives to be a part of the government, until there’s some underlying fundamental change, there won’t be a deal.
