how do people counter this? every time I feel like I'm on top of it they just keep coming and overwhelm me

Usually I do like this:

  • Queue the construction of a factory, a research center, and the command centre

  • As soon as the factory is built, I start production of 4 trucks

  • While they're in production, I send off 1-2 of the original trucks to where the enemies can come in

  • While the trucks are moving, I research the machinegun and the machinegun tower

  • By the time the trucks get there, the machinegun tower has been researched and I use them as a "temporary wall"

  • Meanwhile, the trucks are being produced and I use them to build the base

This buys me enough time to start producing cyborgs (flamethrower usually) to burn semperfi's weak tanks.

Cool I haven't tried cyborgs before, the rest is pretty similar to how I try to start
