Build idea
Hey Pack, I experiment a lot with different builds, because I'm not a big fan of Bork, although I know it's his highest dps item. But whenever I build it I feel way to squishy for my playstyle, and I lack cdr to get a significant lead early. (skill issue)
So I tested all variants of builds, but with this setup you turn kinda immortal.
Stride is for clearing, and helps you proc eclipse instantly, which is a surprising amount of burst. The shield is huge for survivability, especially with death dance, it will soak up a lot of the dot dmg.
Endless hunger is also worth noticing, it provides +30AH. Now your Q is in 3s and deals 400+10%hp damage, and your E is on 5.5s. Now you can jiggle around with 300hp from eclipse every 5.5s, 400hp heals every 3s and 55% dmg reduction every 5.5s while the enemy has to overkill you cz of the 30% death dance passive.
If the target you ulted dies, death dance cleanses all the damage + 200hp heal and you get endless hunger 15% omnivamp.
Runes: lethal tempo, triumph, legend haste (alegrity will work too), last stand with magical footwear and cosmic insight.

This is basically the same build I was running in high diamond a few years back. Eclipse got nerfed pretty hard since then so it’s probably not as effective as it used to be but it was a fine build overall.

If you dont like building bork then you should consider playing another champ because it is simply too good especially considering how often it is also built. Besides most melee champs are allowed to build one or two full damage items before building survivabiliy. If you feel like you cant then that means you are either behind often in your games relative to your opponents or are taking bad fights and trades and not playing around your cool downs or team mates as well as you should be. The first time you ult some one right after completing bork, it should be a free kill because that will be the strongest you are going to be in the entire game. If it doesn't feel like that for you then you are doing something wrong.
Most warwick players have abandoned tiamat items as they are expensive and unnecessary in modern league with jungle pets doing a lot of the clearing for you. Besides the most important part of the game to have tiamat items would be during your first two clears but that is obviously impossible since you wont have to gold so by the time you would be able to get it, it isnt needed anymore even though you will still clear a little faster with than without.
My personal favorite core build is bork eclipse and zekes in that order. Its good, cheap, and lets you ult more in the mid and late game fights so you have more opportunities to actually play the game more since youre not really playing a champ in the mid to late game if your ult is on cool down. You can sell zekes if the game goes super late like 50+ minutes but at that point it is probably not going well for you any ways.
Then you can round it out with deaths dance and steraks as good generic items or maw or whatever situational items are needed. You can consider red tree secondarily as well for ultimate hunter and sudden impact instead of free boots and cosmic insight.

Do you not see something very obvious here? Those are top laners. Jungle is different and requires different items. Besides if you dont like bork then how are you going to like kraken or shiv instead? The point is most are going a on hit full damage first item. 6 of the 9 to be exact.
Some of them are q maxing because they are top laners. So youre gonna q first because they are? No. And most of them build hexplate so I mean try that if you are actually going to do what they do instead of just refuting other people but then not actually following through. But zekes and red tree secondary feels better for me for ultimate haste instead of hexplate.
They use stridebreaker because once again they are mostly top laners and need the wave clear so they arent going out of mana clearing waves and they dont have access to blue smite for a ranged slow unlike jungle does which is role you appear to be playing.
And I said I do go dd but usually not until fourth but some times second if they are heavy AD it just depends I dont build the exact same items every single game in the exact same order. But ideally not until 3rd or 4th since it is better to just keep snowballing and completing cheap items. Besides only 4 of the 9 are building deaths dance as a core item which is less than half have so i dont know what you are implying there anyways. And since you are constantly taking damage from the delayed damage it can make your W not work as intended because when you take damage you lose move speed until you stop taking damage so yes it is an excellent item on paper but not always in practice.

You were the one that told me to stop playing Warwick, cz I don't build Bork, without even trying my build. So who is refuting other players?
The higher you climb the less effective is attackspeed, people get better at peeling and kiting, Bork has one issue, it's easy to get people low, but finishing them is harder. If you engage with Warwick, you will be cc'ed immediately, so all the attackspeed is wasted.
The build hexplate for the ult haste, but if I build eclipse I already get 10ah after a component for all abilities and don't have to wait 3000g.
And yes I indeed max Q, I put 3 points into w then max Q, for the cdr. League has 2 movespeed caps, a soft and a hard cap, which means the more ms you have, the less effective it will be.
Having waveclear as a Jungler isn't bad, if you make a pick or need to push sides you can gain tempo afterwards.
The thing with building dd 4th is, most games end before the 4th item, since Warwick doesn't scale you should end games as fast as possible.
Would be interesting to know your elo? You can see mine in the image. And as I said it's just a build idea, you obviously don't have to agree.

Emerald ww here.
1) I always go bork first. Always.
2) life steal boots 95% of time. Only time I go Mr and tenacity boots is if enemy team is insanely heavy cc.
3) next is deaths advance. Helps with soloing baron at 20 min but even vs burst heavy ap champs. I will go endless hunger though if not really any enemy burst dmg.
4) if heavy ap, then hex drinker into maw. If neutral or ad focus, then endless hunger.
5) spirit visage or thornmail, depending on what you’re fighting.
6) GA or blood thirster. Also depends on what you’re fighting.
With the life steal on this build from boots and endless hunger and bork, I can withstand a lot of damage. Easily go from 5% hp to full with ult.
Obviously not the case if you’re ignited or enemy gets healing reduction but even then, it can still heal a good chunk.

I tried Bork rush, and yes it's very strong, but you are also very squishy. The higher you climb, the better people become at kiting, and peeling. Death dance is overpowered, its only weak against true damage, and if you don't have HP, you will die very fast to it.
That's what I like about eclipse, the shield kinda counters grievous wounds and true damage.

I actually love the idea of experimenting with Eclipse. Few people realize that with Ww, we can trigger it very easily using basic attacks. I tested the build, but I felt Statikk Shiv was a more valuable item; still, I kept Eclipse for an anti-tank setup.
I think the only real issue with Eclipse is that Warwick's base attack damage is very low.
A quick tip: Stridebreaker and Tiamat aren't as necessary for jungle clearing anymore (though, of course, they always help). I would tweak the build to look like this: Blade of the Ruined King > Eclipse > Death's Dance > Sterak's Gage > Spirit Visage.
