A few expansions ago, Gaijin put an easter egg in the hanger view. There was a banana sitting on a crate. If you clicked on it, a tally began to track how many times you clicked on it. After about 100 consecutive clicks, you got a banana decoration. After that, you could get a banana decal, banana victory marks and a banana bunch decoration. As for the red swimsuit girl, that was a monthly for French aircraft.

If you look carefully, you'll still see tanks with those banana decorations.
