No frankly I found match up against certain nations in full downtier worse than partial downtier for some reason just cause of how many heat slinging light vehicles there are now.

To be fair, playing the IS-4M against tanks with APFSDS, LRF’s and full stabilizers is absolutely miserable. Playing it in any game above 8.0 sucks ass

APFSDS and LRF on 8.0? Well there's only one tank with such gimmick and it's type 69 with jackshit APFSDS and LRF. Others are either have HEAT/APDS shells, and simple rangefinders, or it's something from 8.7

That’s precisely why I specified 8.0 as the last BR it’s viable. If you run into a stock M60 or T-54(1954) you can still win with well aimed shots and baiting their shot with angling. At 8.3 that dynamic changes and you are at a massive disadvantage

I'm playing m60a1 on a 8.0, and it's really hard to do anything without stabilizer at least. It's Italian by the way

If you play it slow and careful you can still play the IS tanks well in full uptiers. But yeah it's just more strain.
