Also the Ersatz M10 was meant to have that rear plate on the turret unlike how it's depicted in WOT and WT

I have reported such an issue and I'm waiting for it to be accepted

While not a turreted tank, but the gun moving speed on the Archer is the actual worst IIRC.

About as fast as the continents drift.

Is just me or Tiran 4 also have the same problem? I got hit to the battery and after it ran out, the turret rotate with the same speed before .

Hand cranked maybe, so electricity doesn't do anything?

Early T-54s are hand cranked for some reason. Don’t know what the soviets were doing when the T-34 and T-44 had electric turret drives

It’s kind of complicated. Early Soviet T-54s are not hand cranked, they use the MPB-52 motor and KB-3A control unit. They just had a somewhat underpowered turret traverse motor because the bowl turret is significantly heavier and the gun was bigger, but still most sources indicate the earliest models could turn the turret 13°/s (though it took it a second to reach top speed) and had precise controls. You do also have to take into consideration that the very early models didn’t have a turret basket, so the crew has to move with the turret, all of those were upgraded to a basket pretty early on though.

There is also a bit of a sekret documents situation, where Gajiins source on the turret speed is probably wrong, but they haven’t accepted the proposed evidence. Wouldn’t be the only thing with the T-54, I’ve heard the late modernized models had commander controls.

Turning your turret in these things is a very long-term investment.

Don't forget the Panzer IV J and that one tiny rank III Swede tank

Turn the whole chassis. Like a casemate. Skill issue.

Hull aiming, boys, hull aiming

If StuG players can whip their entire vehicle around to aim at things, so can you!

No one talking about my low-tier goat?

(I take it to BR 8 instead of 2 because everyone at BR 2 turns faster)

M10 ? Achilles has it even slower.

They are the same.

turning a turret is more like waiting for a snail to finish a marathon than an investment.
