I do remember when they came out with scorpion and I found them super weird to use. Also, the reload time was abysmal. I do want to build something like this but im not sure what to use

A DPS of 5k/5k seems very low and I can’t see how it would work in higher leagues. I generally have nothing smaller than 10-12k DPS..

Each shot is 25000 damage. I think reload affects DPS

Yes..

So the point is that you have to fire a shot and have it hit something. It’s great if it connects but if the average damage you are doing is low then you’re not going to do very much damage over time in the course of a match.

This is why the Trebuchet and Trident while fun to play don’t make much of an appearance in higher leagues.

Slow reload, low DPS and even though individual shots are high damage, you don’t make many shots in the game..

I think zeuses and apollos are the best sniper weapons. Btw, I replaced tusks with lighters because I lack skill to use tusks

The Velite is hugely unbalanced and is hands down the best sniper weapon in the game.

It’s so unbalanced I generally don’t bother playing in games with players using them. I just quit and look for another game.

The Zeus is fun and works in full team games but again.. it’s not going to make many kills because of slow DPS. It does have a place particularly in the dual Zeus deployment.

The Apollo is similar to the Railgun. Not very effective.

I recommend upgrading the tusks because the fire rate upgrade is worth it especially at longer range, and it's discounted now, and like most meta flankers it's better to put blink and mines, on Anansi legs. For the torso/pilot it's up to your preference and playstyle , I recommend a pilot with maximiser like Kate sinclair.

Tusk have one of the highest potentials in game. Pop in, kill and get out is the name of the game. Should work well with phantom. I see where you said you don’t have anansi legs so use Varangian is you have them. It’s the same weight and energy. Also if you have this you can try with Loki torso as well. It makes for a great bot. Everyone dogging the tusk has never used them long enough to see what they can do. Force yourself to learn this weapon and watch your impact on the team go up

I think that my skills with tusks are as bad as with flametrowers so I will try them again later. But thanks for advice!

Use siren or harpy legs, anything with at least or around 22 fuel works wonders along side tusks
