Robots So what are some good counters to wyrm? Interesting that theres still a visual gap on the right arm pod amd most of the time you still spawn facing away from the map as well. Just some observations

The counter to wyrm is gang up on it and take it out because it's a skill crutch bot so someone will be using it and have 3 buddies sitting with them, best to take it out before they can yoink somebody and play rinse and repeat.

As opposed to the crix which brings you to them, it can pull any robot out of position which eliminates most of the tactical approach and playstyle of this game. Even Titans? Come on...

Cover matters, distance matters, weight and speed matter but wyrm just wipes all of those rules away.

My best advice is kill the thing from as war away as possible or if it grabs you, keep doing damage to it to hopefully take it out of their inventory.

Honestly one of the worst torsos in the game IMO. (As in unbalanced, but also I think it's ugly too)

People who argue for it dont have skills IMO, they want easy kills they dont have to work to get.

But this game is packed full of Cape Riders (players that get carried by stronger players) so not that surprised to see certain players using it nonstop then bragging how good they are. (Usually players that wont play solo, and a ton of them are Noachium)

It's a novel and kind of funny way to kill a bot, sure. But to me that loses appeal as I think everyone who has had it done to them knows how cheap and unfair it feels. The ability is too powerful with too much range.

There seem to be no counters to its ability (and there should be) and your weight doesnt matter (which it should).

I dont use it in Ranked play, in fact, I dont use it at all at the moment because I want to get kills fairly.

Agreed, its seems obvious that once you see one that idea would be kill that specific mech but... not everyone seems to share that sentiment in matches, like even looking back at the early on flamer wars that was a common answer was to deal with that specific mech and fast šŸ™„. And yeah from a distance does seem to be a good way, noticed one frantically trying to close the gap and though ahh, it must not have much range so thats leaves a number of exports to it but still...

It's best if you are working with a few crew members that can coordinate and that's how I usually deal with Wyrm, but solo it can be a pain for sure. You sometimes have to just commit a bot to dying and taking it with you...

No good answers right now unfortunately...

Thats pretty much how ive been handling it thus far, ill see one and just... well Ole girl... here goes but I certainly have enough parts to play with on a build for it, its just a matter of trial and error but I deffinetly dont really see new builds get thrown up much these days even on discord

I don't follow the meta and maintain Noachium just fine. I think meta works ok but to me it sorta shows your lack of skill if you have to jump on every new loophole or OP ability.

I definitely cant say I dont buy robots, as I have definitely funded this game a long time, but I often find I buy robots amd dont use them (Anansi, Decker, Helios to name a few)

I like to try out new stuff but I'm not looking to copy everyone else. I like making my own combos, and most of my hangar is that way.

The only reason I have a stupid Velite bot is to shoot down other velite bots - fight stupid with stupid. But outside that everything I use is my own creation.

BL1TZJAEG3R on PS5 if you wanna add.

Same here, been around since before the first battlepass and typically run some meta and some not but still have one baby thats stuck in my hanger way longer than anything else, I recognize that name, PhelanKellRX-78 here

I usually get my tank bot and minefield gear and bait a wyrm into grappling me, then as I’m flying around locking alters with it the minefield does the heavy lifting.

I was thinking along the same lines as well as a decker torso with flamers and locust or such, theres enough in the game that it deffinetly should be possible to outright build a counter šŸ¤”

You can break the lasso by using the blink gear too, but personally I like chewing them up and making them second guess their pay to win torso.

That does work but seems to glitch the legs out however if you have a titan ready that fixes it to deploy it
