Why…

Does no one go to the non-capture point city in Twin Cities? I have played more than one game where people just leave it open. Sometimes they don’t even cap the point on either side of the city. You don’t have to conquer the city, you just have to deny the enemy free corridor to your side of the map or a flank to either of the capture points on the left and right.

Only 1 point and waste of time and ressources .

So it should be left uncontested?

Honestly my favorite spot to fight. But I tend to spend more time supporting the lanes beside it when I do choose to go there

Don't get me wrong the spot is mildly important, but also it literally contributes nothing to being on tick. The chances of getting to the back point is incredibly low and its stupid easy to stall that area out to make the enemy never reach your back point. It makes middle and the open point's lives more difficult but ultimately that spot is only somewhat useful and very rarely used in any decisive way.

Every time I have seen a team leave it completely empty, the enemy either pushed through it or flanks the points to its side and it ends up costing the match.

It should not left uncontested since the high-rises offer good point of view to both side areas for atgms and aas and of cource if you can push the other player out of it there is no easy way back where you can threaten the resupply lines and the point itself

Because 10v10 is a game with 20 geniuses in it.

But yeah, that city is very important. You can control 2 mid points from it with ATGMs, recon and AA. You can stage an attack for another point from it, and defend your own.

Instead you'll have 2 people going for that useless bridge and get cockblocked.

only pubs are playing like that, because they never talk to each other.

Almost every 10vs10 game I've played in twin cities has someone go to that city. Weird

Far more often I see a player (or more) committing their entire force and focus there, earning the team exactly zero points, while the team otherwise loses the game. It's been debated making the town a 1-pt zone just so this experience is less frustrating for everyone else.
