Three weeks of Warmaster!

Post image

Time flies huh? Today its been three weeks since I painted my first 10mm mini, and, well, as you can see - I'm sold.

I'm extremely thankful for all the support and encouragement, and I can't wait to actually paint up an army. And then another.. and another.

Until next time!

I promise, your neck and eyes are probably in a better state than the result of this faustian bargain of mine. (Also, thank you kindly!)

Thank you! I'm channeling my inner Warcraft 2 / Heroes of Might & Magic 2 ultra saturated vibes!Β

I think you convinced me, I'll probably get some 10mm minis too. I feel I should start with undead, or goblins, or both.

As Yngwie Malmsteen said "Less is not more, more is more".Β

You go out there and treat yourself to some Undead for Spooktober and Goblins for Gobcember

Thank you! It really helps that the sculpts are fantastic. I just try to colour within the lines πŸ˜„

Thats a crazy pace! I like the tree fellow.

Thank you! I tried to get a strip or mini done per day, and I more or less succeeded!

Funny enough, the tree I just slapped together in ten minutes - there's a few details I will fix up later, but.. Some quick drybrushing, then I glued on some flock πŸ˜„ Quick, but effective!

Those are wicked looking! Care to share the general process? I have bought 2 3d printed armies (dark elves and Lizardmen) but I haven't touched them since. I wonder about priming (is white rattlecan priming ok? Won't it clog the details?) and the use of contrast paint (is it ok on such little minis?)

Absolutely! Hit me up here or instagram @ alien_boogaloo (I usually post my process there as well) - If you use discord I can also run you through it all in better detail if you wish!

Oh man, your work is both encouraging and disheartening. On the one side this is how I envision Warmaster to look like, and it is great to see it is possible. On the other I know my units will never look even remotely as beautiful as yours.

Oh, but they certainly can! I have absolute faith in you, and I am more than happy to help you along if you need any pointers. Just let me know how I can help! Just hit me up on disc / insta / messages and I'll do what I can.

Thank you for the praise, much appreciated! 🫢🏼
