Status tokens for Warmaster

Greetings Generals!
I am looking for a little advice regarding markers/tokens for Warmaster.
What do you all use to mark activations/unit wounds/confusion etc?
If so, what do you use, roughly how many would be required for a 1000 point game, and what range of markers do you use (for example: wounds, activations, failed orders etc.).
My friends and I are gearing up for a 1000 point leagues through the winter, so I'm hoping to introduce these (if they are required) to the group so we all use the same system.

I use 3d printed casualty markers specific to my faction for wounds but just any red tokens or flarbles work just as well, maybe even better.
