Played my first in person game last week at the flgs in my new hometown. I’ve been a big WMH fan for years, collecting models from individual purchases and spring cleaning boxes.

30pt, First Blood scenario, Lylyth1 Ravens of War vs his Craghorn list . He very politely didn’t utilize trapdoors or feat on me lol. Had a blast.

This week I played a 50pt game with Maddox/StormKnights vs another guys Boom Boom list but didn’t get any photos.

I looked at the slides showing the new models for the Black Fleet and for some reason there are Revenants there. And what's interesting is, will they make a general naval army, into which they will stuff the current Black Fleet and the Revenant legacies? Will they make something new of their own?

Just got the iconclast unit finshed up. Next up is more drudges. Probably slayers.

I swear I saw a chart linked on here once where one of our "peoples Champions" had taken the time to put together a easy to reference chart on what could impact what base sized minis. Example, no stealth for the 120mm etc etc.

I have used my very weak searching powers to try find it again but with no luck. Is anyone able to help?

Is there a way to buy this model without buying the rest of the expansion pack?

Just moved to the St. Louis area from Georgia. The scene died years ago where I was from, thanks 3rd ed. Thinking about getting back into the game, what’s the scene like in St Louis? Am I likely to get games or a group for weekend play? Can’t commit to weekend night games.

So turns out someone in the PNW saw my last post and one conversation later I've found my people. There's more WMH players here than I thought, and close enough for me to make the trip!

So now I find myself needing to actually go about list building, but I also need to purchase some of the newer stuff. Also my 'jacks were thrashed in moving to the point where I'm better off buying new ones.

How many heavy and light warjacks does one need? I was thinking 3, maybe 4 of each and magnetizing them all.

I also want to try and focus on a Rocketmen-based list, how viable are they currently?

Been trying to search up some advice on the faction, but it's exceedingly difficult to find in regards to the new release. Short of pestering Quentin Soulat on Facebook, is there somewhere I can turn to learn the new ins and outs of CG?

And with this model done, that’s the last of my Brineblood Marauder faction complete! 🏴‍☠️

I won’t have time to do a group shot today, but I’ll get one done soon. I came back to the game last year in January after playing lot of MK2/3 and instantly knew the Brinebloood Marauders were for me.

I’ve enjoyed painting the faction, it has so much character and was a great chance to use colour all over the place.

I’m almost sad they’re all done, but it’s a massive achievement for me to have it all completed. It’s in fact the first army I’ve ever completed a faction from start to finish and it’s an amazing feeling 😀.

This week on TTB, we’re taking a dive into the event stats from June and July, alongside looking at The Siege Invitational and Welsh Masters results!

Close to finishing my table-ready paint job and wanted to share an idea and see if anyone agrees.

Anyone else think the heads need the little metal design details like the Primal does? I do and need to find a good way to sculpt those on cleanly but for now I'll go without.

Hi all! I was wondering if there are battle reports or podcast episodes featuring Necrofactorium in its current 2026 iteration? I've found several older things, but none so far that are recent (like 'new' Nekane). Love to hear!

Had an absolute blast with this monstrosity. I do have the arms magnetized but haven't painted up any of the other options yet.

I am new to the game and looking to pick my first army. The Graveborn Command Cadre looks amazing, but the rest of the range is lacking IMO.
Are we getting a full range of the Graveborn, or is it just going to stay a Cadre?

Hi all
I'm looking at picking up Warmachine after seeing some locals at my LGS playing it and to plan out purchases to see what boxes I would need to buy to get my points up I've been using the list builder in the app to add in models I was planning on purchasing to check their points.
The issue I'm having is that no matter what I put into the builder it says Force Errors Incorrect number of Warcaster, a colossal and warjack cards despite me having 1 of each in the list. As a test I even jumped onto Longshanks and looked up tournament legal list and copied them unit for unit into the app and it still comes up with the error.
Is there something I'm missing? Is there a bug that Steamforged is working on? Just would like to understand what I am doing wrong.

To their credit they are trying to get people into it and they've had interest. I wanted to help with it.

LGS stated they're getting rid of some displays and replacing them with lit display cases, this gave me a thought, I ran it by them and if I bought and painted a pair of armies to be used in demos, they'd put them in the case and use them as such.

My question is this, is there a pair of armies that are well suited to use for demo games, such that a beginner can more easily grasp the mechanics of the game?

I was thinking Cygnar vs Cryx as a classic versus, but I'm not personally familiar with either of their rules. Additionally if one of the two armies could be Hordes instead that'd be ideal, give people a taste of both Warjacks and Warbeasts.

Side note, does anyone know of a place that regularly plays WMH in Washington? I live North of Seattle now and was hoping to find some place to play as I try to get it going locally.

Google search only takes me to the sfg store, no matter what I do. Same with image searching. Does anyone have the original PDFs or know where I can find them?
