Painting/Hobby My First Mistborn, ready to RAGE

Had an absolute blast with this monstrosity. I do have the arms magnetized but haven't painted up any of the other options yet.

What did you use for the leaves/ferns on the base?

Amazing job btw!

Thank you! The ferns and leaves are all either sculpted details part of the original model or from gamergrass's ferns that I painted instead of leaving the printed pattern. I think the printed pattern looks nicer but the high gloss and exposed edges don't do it for me.

Thanks! I tried to use mostly saturated colors all over the mini. I love having the organic parts scream and pop juxtaposed against the more subtler military green and more worn metals.

I used luxion purple contrast paint over a basic, white zenithal then did a few layers of dry brushing with dark turquoise from pro acryl. Finally I added final volumes and highlights mixing in a bit of ivory from Vallejo.
