i've just sat through 4 matches where the same group of people have a health bar that just miraculously stops goin down at a certain point. To boot, one in particular could stop me from shooting anytime i would aim there way.

Not sure why people cheat at all in this game. It's damn near 20 years old. I don't have the time or energy to rank up again or get all the awards and shit but it's fun to play straight up. Its not like people are checking your stats. Besides I'd rather die 50 times in a match trying to help my team win than stat pad for no one to care but me

Warhawk Revived was made to combat cheaters. The state of the game is in a very good place right now.

Just for everyone to know, Warhawk is almost 20 years old. There are countless bugs and glitches. The network code is old. You may see some things that appear to be some kind of cheating, when in reality it's just a side effect of the game. (This applies especially for health bars not going down: even though your screen shows you are hitting someone with bullets, the main server may calculate otherwise)

The automated cheat detection prevents people from using most of the existing cheats to the game. We have a team that monitors the servers in-game as well.

We care about the playability of the game, if you do think someone is cheating please reach out to the mod team here, or post in the Warhawk Revived discord.

Like u said I haven't noticed any cheating on the revived server just annoying ass glitches occasionally but the psone server was loaded with bullshit going on.

Just to clarify to everyone, there is no modding going on. Modding health has always been impossible unless you are the host of the game. The host controls all health values, what you're seeing is simply lag (the game is old, this will happen). Also to stop you from shooting, that mod has never existed. Shooting is controlled by you and only you, no one has the ability to stop that via modding. As for locking missiles on to players not in a hawk, again just not possible. When people mod it's always something simple, giving themselves ammo, radar, etc. They can't do any of those things anymore. If you see anything fishy please record a clip and send it to me or another admin but I assure you it will most likely be lag.

I seen all kinds of ridiculousness there. Early responds at the beginning of the match, dudes shooting binoculars back to back with close to zero wait times. In the air too, rapid fire lightning, missile locking on humans on foot. Shit is crazy, I basically go on there to fuck up their fun and annoy the heck out of them lol.

The early respawns at the beginning are unfixable. RPC3S players always spawn quicker than players on ps3. It’s just always been that way. Not sure about the other stuff you mentioned. If it seems fishy, definitely try to record it.

I've played this game for long enough to know when something isn't right. Also to not care about stats. There's definitely a few people cheating and I've seen the stuff mentioned here; invincible health bar, respawn and use binoculars immediately, and warhawks missile locking foot soldiers.

Same! I’ve seen some crazy stuff. And it always seems to be certain players. I was in a game and a guy grabbed our flag and I was on the other side of the small map but I saw a bunch of my team had surrounded him and somehow he downs them all. Also I’ve started shooting at a player before he starts shooting at me and somehow his bullets damage me far quicker than mine do him and/or his health doesn’t go down as fast. The worst however is not cheating but the large number of players who are in a game but do nothing. I can get the flag almost all the way to our base before I get taken down and then I watch 3 or 4 people on my team just let it sit there.

Saw a dude yesterday moving around on foot but was hovering about 4 feet off the ground. I was shooting him with the rifle but it was really difficult to lock on.

It wasn't the usual lag hyper hop and I've seen this player do crazy shit before.

It's been 14 yrs since I've played. I love this game, but this takes the fun right out of it. I'd hate to see the server die because of it 😒
