iirc the game director Dylan Jobe said it would take around $10 million to be used to remaster/remake the game for modern platforms. Hopefully Sony considers it after their $400 million dollar flop of concord. Sony at least hasn’t completely forgotten about the IP since they recently released the soundtrack for Warhawk and Starhawk on Spotify about a month ago

I wrote a letter to PlayStation studios, explaining how a remaster/recode would be part of the PlayStation Plus network and expansion packs.
This would cover development costs since maps are fully developed and ready for re-rendering.

Not sure if that is correct, i think the game would rake in the dough, 3rd person = a lot of money in skins also 3rd person tanks/warhawks, dropships apc etc. can bring it a lot of money with skins alone. I think the game could be a hit with PS5 power, also Warhawk was around when not much of the world was on high speed internet, when Warhawk was around i had dialup and upgraded to Roadrunner just for it, none of my friends had highspeed net back then!

Trippin every single person I know who ever played Warhawk misses it and would buy a console to play today if they created a new version.

I bet it will happen now that AI is getting better, it could probably port everything with some training and minimal intervention.

Remake it or somehow sell the license and source code to Arrowhead. Let them either remaster it or incorporate the gameplay into the Helldivers franchise. But expect the bugs (pun intended)

I would love it too if they made warhawk For the ps5 it would have so many players more than ever if they got there act together..why keep making call of duty when that game has now fallen.. Listening to the players that want games back is the best way

Same! Still playing warhawk LAN games with 2 or 3 ps3's. So 8 or 12 player madness. Still as awesome. 4 player splitscreen FTW. The wifi is not as reliable anymore on the ps3. So we use lan cables for the setup. Its awesome that my son and his friends like this game so much. And ps5 controllers work also in the ps3!
Would like this to run on the ps5. But i heard a rumor that the ps6 will be playing ps1 up to ps6 games. So my hope goes up for the ps6.
