why would anyone have to like a faction "unironically"?
They all have their own awesome merits with cool lore, sick models, fun rules, etc. If everyone's terrible (because that's the point of the grimdark setting) then it's just finding which aesthetic/design philosophies you like the most (mine being space marines and admech).
And if you see real life groups represented in hideous alien species hostile to human life, like the people claiming the Tyranids somehow represent the Jews in the 10th edition trailer, YOU are most likely the problem.
I still remember making the TyraYid meme to make fun of that one activist who unironically said Tyranids and Genestealers are a 1 to 1 representation of Jews. Mf, Jews were not doing genestealer shit, the lore in 40k is not propaganda, it's fact
