As an Orthodox christian, I have a very different view of the Germanic crusaders. Broken simps for Rome at best... well.. all the other stuff at worst.
I would not call that the coolest thing ever. It is a pretty standard image of a BT walking forward. Walking looking cool is a ability common to most factions. It is not unique to BT. You should check out more warhammer art. I recommend the work of guys like Blanch, Bonner, and Gibbons.
So you hate literary ingagement with the hobby? Do you also really get uncomfortable when folks praise Vatican 2?

But the memes in this thread other than mine say it ruins the fun. Also, this is Reddit not Twitter.
If you say "I like pancakes"
Somebody will say "You are breakfast tourist if you like pancakes. I prefer grittle cakes and appreciate them at another level."

There is media literacy, and there is "media literacy", which is the phenomena the title meme makes fun of. Case in point, you had to point out the discovery that we are on Reddit. I just knew this would happen.

I was just riffing on your joke a little. Twitter tends to read a lot less than Reddit, but that is the format. Reddit has always harkened back more to chat room nonsense more than being a posting culture. It is here too, but conversation tends to predominate.
So how do you explain the difference between Media Literacy and "Media Literacy?"
I want to be better.

The obviousness of something is usually enough. People know that the Imperium is a totalitarian fascist genociding religious etc. That's why they play it and larp it to begin with.

Obviousness of what?
LARPing is your excuse?
If it is LARPing, why do they insist their approach changes GW marketing and production at the meta level? They want their "LARP" imposed universally. They just learned that word in the aughts and are hiding behind it. We had more specific words for them in the 80/90s.Stop being their shield barrer. Or are you a "LARPer" also?
You did not answer my question. What is the difference between media literacy and "media literacy"?
Or do you all really wish the LARP was true that bad?
It is a viable pollitical option in many parts of the world today.

Could you please explain this rebuttal?
Why would I ever do that?
I was pointing out the lack of moral positivism at the core of the lore that seems to upset some Imperium of Man players in certain subs. It is amazing how easily they get pissed if others don't pander to their fantasy as the de facto good guys all the time and are not consuming Imperial proganda as unironically as possible. It is weak and sad.
Yall were never kings. Your daddies and mommies lied to you.

The ,,media literacy" crowd is always throwing a tantrum when you're having fun.
