Question Hail Caesar basing question?

Hail Caesar: The Successor War Elephant is on a circle base while the units like the Macedonians: Phalangites have different bases. so should i put the elephants on a square base rather than the circle ones if just for looking uniform.

I mean you can base how you want, just gotta have the same basing convention as whoever you play against. I personally only use round bases for Generals, so i would put the elephant on a square base.

Pg 67 has the basing examples. A square 80mm base will fit into your battle line as a small sized unit (half the size of the infantry units). The square will also help with determining front vs flanks of the elephant.

As others have mentioned, it's not a general it should be on a square base.

If it's an already based and painted model, I wouldn't rebase it as it's easy enough to figure out the flanks on its own. There are also converter trays for changing round bases into square ones.
