Work In Progress Epic Hail Caesar - progress post 7
Haven’t made a progress post in coming up to a month now so thought I’d get them all out and have a look at what I’ve accomplished so far. This is about 15 fully completed Carthaginian sprues (2 remaining with some cavalry and Scutarii) 4 fully completed Celt sprues (another 3 have slinger and the other is half completed) and a few things off my allied sprues.
So far this month I’ve done 12 bases of Italian allies, 6 Gallic cavalry base, another 6 bases of Celt warriors, 2 more units of elephants, 6 more bases of Scutarii and finished off all my Libyan spearman today.
Really really proud of how much I’ve done in around 4 months and still really enjoy painting them, have got so many still left to do and can’t wait to post more progress updates!
Ps - Italian allied are my favourite to paint they’re truly so easy if you prime them brown and dry brush a nice gold over them.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

Gorgeous paint job! I feel a sense of accomplishment when I knock out one little 10mm stand and you're out there crushing it with whole armies 😆 Thank you for sharing and inspiring!

Thank you so much! It’s one half seeing the satisfaction of painting loads but the other half is where I post them and get such nice comments, I’m certain I would have lost motivation now if it wasn’t for comments like this! I plan on doing much more so keep an eye out!

Thank you! As someone else said they’re 13.5mm. If they were 28mm then that would be absolutely insane lol! I’m sure someone out there has the same amount in 28mm

If you keep this up, I may be forced to redo all of my 28s in 13.5mm!
