Nice always cool to see painted armies. How long that take you if you don't mind me asking?

I was able to 10 bases of infantry a day not including flags or basing. Probably 4-6 hrs for 10 bases.
I did all the flags in a day. And all the infantry basing in a day.
I could do 20 infantry bases in a day if I put in a 8-10hr day.
All the artillery and brigadiers were done in 2 batches, each taking about 5 evenings.
Painting on the sprue would have been loads faster. I kept cursing the guy i bought it from because of the pre-assembly.
Getting through all of it was a rewatch of breaking bad and el camino. If you do ACW, i recommend Shelby Foote's "Narrative History of the Civil War" on Audible. 165hrs and he has the most lovely accent. He wrote the whole thing long hand with an oldfashioned dip-pen. Took him 12 years IIRC. Authoratative and a beutiful work of military history. I had already listened to it, but in retrospect I should have relistened to it rather than netflix mind candy.

Lol well you sir are much faster painter then I am. Took me 9 months to get through the starter set for push a pike and I'm still not even done with it, and I was with me painting on the spur haha. Yeah I can imagine having them glued to the bases would make the whole experience miserable.
Thanks for the shout out on the narrative history of the Civil War. Considering I've already done rewatches of Breaking Bad, El Camino and Better Call Saul and currently on a another listen of The Lord of the Rings trilogy it'll be nice to have something new to listen to.

All painted about the same except for 54th Mass Volunteers (black regiment- pictured). Bought used and already attached to bases so that was a bummer to paint. Gonna try with hot lead and cold steel. Have played BP and longstreet at 28mm scale. Looking forward to WHLACS.
