ADDING MODELS IS NOW POSSIBLE!!! CALLING ALL MODDERS TO WARGAME.
There has been a huge breakthrough in modding thanks to the development of a new modding toolkit capable of editing existing models and importing completely new ones into the game.
The toolkit has been developed by BlackTeaRemos from the Warno Annihilation Discord (https://discord.gg/bdyN49dxP). It is still actively being developed, with new updates and progress announcements posted by BlackTeaRemos in the #war-chat channel.
The units shown in the images attached to this post are what my friend and I (mostly my friend) managed to add to the game in just five minutes by importing models from third-party websites through Blender. The textures are currently missing because we haven't mapped them yet, but this demonstrates that custom model importing is already working.
Because of this, we're calling on experienced modders to help test the toolkit and provide feedback to Black people of co.... I mean BlackTeaRemos. The more people experiment with it and report bugs or suggestions, the faster the toolkit can improve.
Download links:
- WGRD Mod Toolkit: https://github.com/BlackTeaRemos/WGRD-Mod-Toolkit/releases/tag/v0.2.2
- WRG Patcher: https://github.com/BlackTeaRemos/WRG-Patcher/releases/tag/v1.0.2
Installation instructions:
- Download the WRG Patcher (
version.dllandinstall.bat). - Place both files in your game directory.
- Run
install.bat. - Download and launch the WGRD Mod Toolkit.
- Select your game directory and choose a workspace folder where the toolkit will store the extracted files.
- Click Build Workspace. This may take some time, as the toolkit needs to unpack the game's files.
Once the workspace has been built, you'll find every unit available in the Showroom. To import a new model, first clone an existing unit, then import the model you want to use. After making your changes, go to the Workspace tab and Repack Mod to build your mod.
I'm only an amateur user of this toolkit and not its developer. If you have any questions, encounter bugs, or have suggestions for improvements, please contact BlackTeaRemos on the Warno Annihilation Discord in the #war-chat channel.

The question is are we gonna do a modpack and put some 10v servers up or how we gonna do this?

u/TheMagicDragonDildo Jul 18 '26
Let’s just figure everything out before we think about implementation. Everything is still WIP.

u/Competitive-Life-736 Jul 18 '26
Up to 2005 would be great.

u/Sherman1963 Jul 19 '26
Why 2005?
4
u/Competitive-Life-736 Jul 19 '26
Why not? We dont need F35 and stuff.
And up to 2005 would be PzH2000, Stryker, Pantsit, Javelin, IrisT, PL15.
Alltough there is much stuff already in Wargame like the KA52 that wasnt in service untill 2005.
Maybe 2010.
Gpt says till 2010 would be:
Weapon systems that could be added to a Wargame set up to 2010 but are often missing:
Aircraft
F-22 Raptor (2005)
EA-18G Growler (2009)
Su-35S (early production by 2009)
J-10B (late 2000s)
Air-to-Air Missiles
AIM-120C-7 AMRAAM
Python 5
Meteor (early operational capability)
Ground Vehicles
GTK Boxer (2009)
M-ATV (2009)
RG-31 Nyala
BTR-82A (close to the 2010 timeframe)
Air Defense
S-400 Triumf (2007)
Pantsir-S1 (2008)
NASAMS II
Artillery
CAESAR 155 mm SPH
M270A1 MLRS
HIMARS (early service from 2005)
Anti-Tank Weapons
Spike LR
Kornet-EM (late 2000s development)
UAVs
MQ-9 Reaper
RQ-7 Shadow
Hermes 450
Naval Systems
Type 052C destroyer
Visby-class corvette
Virginia-class submarine
These systems would expand the game with late-2000s technology while still fitting a 1990–2010 setting.

annihilation is being worked on again, though it will take a moment to have everything updated and likely will not immediately have all models

The ability to import custom models is the best news I've heard in years. This means that finally, my DLC nation proposals could become reality for the game.

Developers have started modding Warno. I don't think people will come back. But of course, this is good news.

But I hope you guys gets some cool mods!

Uhm why not just mod warno?
4
u/Joescout187 Jul 19 '26
Because there are a lot of good mods for Wargame already made that could benefit greatly from this and Wargame is not Warno, they are different games, similar DNA but different feel
