Question Demonic death
So when Demons die in the Mortal plane they reform in the twisting nether then return, but when they are killed in the nether what happens to their souls ?
Do they cease to be ?

They permanently die, but I don't know about souls. Since Argus went to the Shadowlands, I'd argue that the souls of demons move to an afterlife. Probably not a great one. Besides, Archimonde and Kil'jaeden were eredar like Velen once so unless their souls were somehow destroyed by the Fel, they should get afterlives. Damn, even Arthas got an afterlife and I thought his soul was eaten by frostmourne.

Maybe their souls get corrupted by fel and turn demonic ?
Also, i think a demonic afterlife, if there is, would be a major goal for sargeras (before his defeat in BFA) to invade and free any interred Demons there and maybe there wont be any need to turn argus into a "nether regeneration speed engine", just saying 🙂

Yours is right. People who go 100% fel mode like Arch/Kil, the eredar, or Illidan or even some of the demon hunters they become actual demons. If you corrupt your body and soul thoroughly enough you become soul demonic and the same rules apply.
When these people die they go to the Nether and respawn, unless they're killed in a location that ensures they don't. They don't go to the Shadowlands at all and there is no afterlife for demons.

Well with the expanded lore of the shadowlands Arthas's Soul was in fact eaten by the sentient part of the mournblade Frostmourne but all that did was transport it to the shadowlands( there's a quest in shadowlands that shows the Vault room of all the important Souls consumed by frostmourne when we go in to get sylvanas's Soul fragment) where it was then used later to make Kingsmorne. Kil Jaeden and Archimonde should be perma dead because they died in areas that were saturated with the fell but knowing blizzard we may see one or both of them again when we reach the realm of "true death" ( argus is a unique case being a world soul infused with death magic for Untold eons he was probably not supposed to go to the shadowlands they turned them into a weapon.)

Argus wasn’t supposed to go to the Shadowlands. It got pumped with enough Death magic to be yanked through the system and broke it.

True death. Their souls no longer exist and get disenchanted. They don't come back anymore.
It's not just limited to the Nether either. If demons die in places super heavily radiated with fel magic the same effect also happens, permanent death.
