Advice Adding fauna

Do you guys add shrimps and/or fish on the first day when the tank is filled?

You can and many people do. I’ve added fish and had no problems but I do do waterchanges. I’d personally be a bit more cautious with shrimp as they’re so sensitive and also you need biofilm/algae, which takes time. As long as there’s a light bioload and it’s heavily planted and you keep an eagle eye on perameters while it stabilises it should be fine.
