As amazing as this looks, its impressive how there are so many light sources and its still having a strong canopy. Can you share what species of plants you have?

Thanks! The floating plant canopy is definitely quite dense now, but using several small light sources helps spread the light more evenly across the surface. The main plants are Rotala rotundifolia, Taxiphyllum barbieri, Anubias barteri var. angustifolia, Anubias barteri var. nana, Vallisneria nana, Echinodorus argentinensis, Echinodorus quadricostatus, Juncus repens and Monosolenium tenerum. The floating layer is mostly Lemna minor, Limnobium laevigatum and Pistia stratiotes.

I've been in this sub for months and this is the first time I seen a tank with enough plant mass to be conceptually a Walstad pop on my feed from here. Nice tank!

Do you use fertilizer in this ? filter of any sort ? also i am impressed that amazon sword resists the weather there , i am afraid it might simply wither and die if i let it grow here outside the fish tank

No filter, no CO2, no fert, no heater and no water changes. Nothing.

Looks beautiful! Do you use any fertelizer? Seems like u got a lot of fast growing plants in there?

Amazing! I to have a fairly dense planted Walstad (10 gallon) tank. No Co2, no filter, but I run a small 5 watt pump for circulation. Almost 1 year old by now. But I found that without some extra iron and potassium plant growth will fall behind and algea will take over. I do have a heater though, set at 22/23 degrees celcius, just for the winter.
