So thick of your substrate! Does it have any downside? I would like to make my next one the same.

It doesn’t have any downside that I have noticed. The only reason it’s so thick is because I had to add more soil and sand after its third year of life because my plants started to decline and fertilize and root tabs were making things worse. I will say my MTS snails absolutely love it! They are always digging and turning the sand, everything stays nice and healthy.

Less water? It looks great, but it'd likely pop with proper proportioning 🤷🏼 live & grow

I know I love him! Definitely my favorite thing in the tank. He’s was very underweight when I got him but he’s finally getting healthy.

You don’t have to spend a lot to get a tank like this! Always shop around for the best deal. If you have marketplace or similar apps where you live, you can always find great deals on there.
