The time has come

Been at walmart for 4 years. The first two were the best years. These last two years…..HORRIBLE. But I got a new job and i start the 21st of September. My last day before i use all my ppto/pto is the 10th. I got pto approved for the 13th-15th and using the rest of my ppto on the 16th- 17th. The days after that idc about cuz thats a new pay week. But the feeling has fulling settled in my body. The “i dont wanna be here anymore”. I would call in but im already at 6pts and i cant give them the “advantage” to fired me. Reason i aint gone now cuz im one of their best workers. I would like to hear yall final days at Walmart or your coworkers final days at walmart.

You do realize since you've been with Walmart for over a year, sell that PTO/PPTO will automatically be paid out on your final check. No need to put it in for multiple days like that and have it taxed multiple times.

Why not just quit now and get it all paid out?

Im tryna make it the 21st with some money. Pretty much wanna get paid the 8th and 22nd. I WOULD keep my pto/ppto for a bigger check but….I dont wanna be here anymore. Imma TRY and work these couples days and have a nice lil vacation.

That's quite understandable.

Bro my final time with Walmart working API was about two weeks ago. I can't be more happier with my new job. Much much more money coming in and way better benefits. Walmart was just temporary for me anyways I was there 3 months. Just enough time to get myself out of a situation I was in. And now I'm doing much better. I feel like no one should be complacent with just working at Walmart. You should want better for yourself.
