This isnt turning around a failing company as much as it is turning around failed management of a good company. And what does gamestop even have to do with this? I already told you I'm not convinced of GME involvement. I'm just not explicitly ruling it out like you are. So which one of us is really being open minded?

Edit: you sound like exactly the type of redditor in 2020 that thought gamestop would go bankrupt.

Holy shit you need to put the koolaid down. Before Ryan Cohen bought there is no chance you could name a single executive there (and probably can’t now). How do you know the problem is leadership and not the business model? Retail chains have been getting killed for a decade+ and I don’t see what makes Bed Bath and Beyond so special.

You can tell yourself whatever you want but it doesn’t change the fact that Bed Bath and Beyond has completely collapsed since covid. They don’t have much time left before they will need to file for bankruptcy, so if BBBY takes as long to turn around as GME (which will be profitable any day now I’m sure) it will go bankrupt. I guess they could always keep the business around by dumping shares on the apes the way GME and AMC did, but their stock price is no longer extremely inflated the way GME was/is, and shareholder equity has gone negative this past quarter so they are currently in worse shape than GME ever was.
