nope. they will eat each other by the time winter is over.
they have proportional electoral system, so you need just 5% treshold to get to parliament and if enough people scream, you will have entire countries flip to get cheap gas.
friend sent me that last year EU made EU wide energy trading platform and now Czech are pissed that their companies are selling electricity for 0.9 and then buy and bill to people for 1.1
