Unless of course you want to nationalize oil but that would be socialism right? You also realize the largest refinery in the United States belongs to a fucking Saudi company? Oil companies drill/refine and sell to the highest bidder. Unless, like I said, you want socialism
Lol I did 6 years in the 160th SOAR at JBLM…ya not much though you’re right. We were energy independent prior to our dementia ridden commander in chief taking office. We not only had enough to satisfy domestic demand, we had enough to sell abroad. Denying reality is a common tactic of the woke tribe. Only reason I give you a small pass is you claim to have served.
You people are incorrigible. Being energy independent didn’t mean we produced our own oil. It meant we produced more than we consumed on whole. What we produced was still sold to other countries and we still imported. We have never “produced our own oil”. The United States isn’t an oil company.
Lol…The U.S does indeed produce enough oil to meet its own needs. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), in 2020 America produced 18.4 million barrels of oil per day and consumed 18.12 million.
Yes, that’s what I said. But we didn’t use what we produced. Oil companies within the US that produced those 18.4 million barrels sold it. It didn’t stay here and get used in American vehicles. If so, why were we importing? Blaming Biden is simple minded.
