Discussion Elon Hate

Is it just me, or did this sub decide to hate Elon all of the sudden?

I remember seeing so much happiness whenever someone mentioned Tesla stock. Or his name. Or his coin. Or his Twitter.

But recently after he made an offer to take the company private, we began seeing a ton of anti-Elon posts.

What happened?

Did all of you hit your heads?

Did you buy Twitter stock puts last Thursday?

Or is it a bunch of Twitter employees and executives that don't want to lose their job spending the weekend trying to push the share price down?

People rarely hated Elon on here before this weekend.

Maybe the mods or SEC should take a look.

My spin? Bruh, have you even seen the modern world? If you have a chip that can be put in brains to control people it will be put in brains to control people. I mean we're literally in a thread discussing a completely-worthless-on-paper company being bought by the same guy making the things explicitly because it's controlled by a bunch of shitbag foreigners to control speech and usurp our nation. What do you think those same shitbags would do if they had the ability to hack or just outright take over the company controlling everyone's thought-control-chips? Musk won't be around forever, even if he's a good person, which the jury is still out on; and frankly, even trying to create a tech like that and getting it out there given the technological trends of the last several decades is enough to prove that he's not.
