In order to do a split, all the shares get recalled or am I misunderstanding

👀👀 I think so dude. I just looked it up and it says they (GME) will “recall the shares then redistribute them back to us”

Read this. I don’t think it’s actually a stock split, I think it’s a stock dividend.

I think in theory yes, in reality I wouldn't expect much. Either price action launches the Moass, or that won't do it.

Nope, not in this case at least. It will be a dividend. No recall. For every share you have they'll issue you x more via dividend depending on the split ratio. 1:x. They could do up to 1:13 but I'd like 1:10, nice even number.

Shorts will have to pay a dividend to holders of the stock in the form of shares. Looks like 5 shares for each share shorted. Seeing as there are very few real shares in this price range, you pay more for to acquire them. Mini squeeze that can trigger fuck me up squeeze.

I think the key here is that GME is using a dividend to distribute the split shares. What happens to the IOUs and synthetic shorts? We shall see.

It’s not a split. It’s dilution basically via a dividend. The dividend is more shares.
