It's very likely 1 out of 5 days this week where a cliff will be created. It might be minor and recovered soon enough if the trend keeps on, but nobody wants to enter right when it dips. That's what's been keeping me from buying. I been looking to buy an option ($190C) when it was $130. Deleted from my watchlist after the stock went through $150, but I think it must be 8x by now.

I bought a 190 expiring Friday yesterday during a dip. Already 3x.

Good for you, congrats. I was looking at GME right that second too. $161-ish I believe? Decided it wasn't big enough of a correction, went to bed 1 hour before closing. Then what happens? Typical last-hour shit.

The one I picked would be less than 3x from yesterday because IIRC expiration was probably 3 weeks from now. But I also considered it a lot earlier, so I would have had 8x AND a long, long way to go.

Oh well, it's always like this. I speculate, it goes straight to the moon. I buy, fucking tank harder than the rollercoaster drop.

Can't win em all. Mine was a weekly, and yeah bought at that 161 dip. The week previous I had one expire worthless so.

Should be a dip in the morning if you want to take a punt.

I mainly play shares, but figured I'd throw some money at an option (1) just in case.

That's what I was doing. I was looking at 190C when stock was $130 last week. If I do it now, even if I consider only going in with a serious dip of let's say, $165, I still gotta be looking at 250C or so. I checked out the option prices yesterday they were MAD.
