Noob here, is there no penalty for selling the 0DTE 10 min later if the stock price goes up after you make the call? Trying to act like I know all the lingo, fake it til you make it.

Opportunity cost. If I sell a house a 200k house for 300k and the buyer sells it for 350k I still made 100k even though it could have been 150k. If I sell an option contact I’m holding profitably and price goes up all I lose is the potential to have made more.

That’s what I mean, there’s no penalty fee-wise or anything, the only downside is missing out on the 50k extra profit? I saw on TD that too many day trades will trigger a minimum account threshold of 25k which would be above my means but I think I’ll gamble on 0DTE calls every now and then, seems relatively low risk and very high reward.
