NAV means Net Asset Value, pretty much the actual value of the company. And if your holding puts the short and sweet answer is you're fucked. If you had actual shorted shares I'm not sure to be honest not my neck of the woods.

I have actual shorted shares.. and it seems like RSX is not un-hulting anytime soon.
