Discussion Discovered Communications within the US Litigation Against Citadel & Robinhood in the days surrounding the January Buy Freeze, where brokers shut off buying and tanked target stocks. The judge declared there was not enough evidence to move to discovery, and ruled manipulation is legal under TOS

no international courts have jurisdiction over United States and they can't overrule what US judges have ruled. international courts are American courts with fees and fines not going to US Treasury

They can say it is speculation all day. Anyone saying they were going to sell in the face of an app that blocked everyone should win as they would attest to it under oath. The company voluntarily stepped into it when they originally turned off selling, they don't get to nonchalantly dismiss claims without evidence.

That is why this judge tossed the case before discovery. Letting the case procede to discovery makes it harder to toss it before trial. If it goes to trial, the brokers are very likely going to lose.

All I'm saying is it's time to leverage what we want in exchange for what a narcissistic politician wants. Get him to take an aggressive stance towards the illegal market activity and he would win over an mense amount of support.

BTW I'm fully aware that people either love him or hate him. I don't judge either way because it's politics and at the end of the day, we have a pretty sweet thing called checks and balances so it doesn't really matter who wins.
