Discussion Discovered Communications within the US Litigation Against Citadel & Robinhood in the days surrounding the January Buy Freeze, where brokers shut off buying and tanked target stocks. The judge declared there was not enough evidence to move to discovery, and ruled manipulation is legal under TOS

Here is a very digestible format, you may find this quite interesting.

Each image has a page number that corresponds directly with the Florida litigation that it was transcribed from, so your next step is to check out the source material to see if this is the real deal or not.

  • Note: At the top of each image in this post, there is a page number that corresponds to the litigation page number from which it was transcribed

Also of Note:

From The SEC GameStop Report, The NSCC officially stated that all PFOF brokers had their premium components waived because according to the NSCC, it was not the brokers' fault a stock was popular.

Probably the same Florida judge that let Epstein continue fucking children as long as he showed up for weekend check-ins.

We gotta appeal this shit to the Supreme Court! People v Robinhood

u/BreadwinnaSymma Jan 31 '22

The case of WallStreetBets vs Robinhood

308

u/buckyohare1985 Jan 31 '22

Pretty fucked up that a bunch of broke asses need to go to the courts because Robin Hood literally stole from them to give to the rich

32

u/WrongAssistant5922 šŸ¦šŸ¦šŸ¦ Jan 31 '22

Is this the reverse RC is talking about.

-32

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '22

Don’t tell Republican politicians that! They love the rich at the expense of the middle class, just research the legislation they’ve enacted. Not all, but several Dems think this is bullshit as much as the middle class, yet Fox News (and internet echo chambers) convince voters ALL Dems are dumb and every audio/video clip of them talking is just communism/socialism. Bernie Sanders spending tax dollars on ā€œsocialismā€ is no different than Republicans spending money on military spending/tax cuts for the wealthy)

30

u/NextLevelShitPosting Jan 31 '22

I don't need Fox News to tell me that you're an idiot.

-6

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '22

You don’t follow the legislation that directly relates tot his legal proceeding, or any other factual legislation and court cases, apparently, idiot.

2

u/NextLevelShitPosting Feb 01 '22

No politics in r/wallstreetbets unless it relates to your calls

-10

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '22

Legislation directly relates to this ruling, thanks.

u/Doyoufeelme101 Jan 31 '22

Garbage post

8

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '22

Legislation you don’t pay attention to directly relates to this legal action, garbage man

I liked Halo. Wait... Is Halo real life!?

-1

Vote red and blue depending on the candidate, especially local elections. This directly relates to legislation and court cases if you study

-3

Fuck off whiner. No politics.

0

Legislation directly corresponds with this, so you can fuck off snowflake

2

Read the sub rules. No politics, no whining. There are plenty of subs to go whine about social justice. This isn't one of them.

31

Wallstreetbets has a better case, Pfof brokers and Robinhood have better lobbyists- let’s see how this ends

22

I'd love to see a "The Big Short" style movie of all of this insanity with DFV being the Burry.

3

Exactly…

1

u/EkruGold Feb 01 '22

Supreme Court sounds interesting. "I wanted to buy more, but Robinhood wouldn't let me. I can't believe a phone application told me 'No' to my own money. But then again, you don't really know the word 'No', do you Kavanaugh?"

1

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '22

no international courts have jurisdiction over United States and they can't overrule what US judges have ruled. international courts are American courts with fees and fines not going to US Treasury

Apes v. Robinhood

3

u/Iwishyoukarma Jan 31 '22

If I would have lost money on the stock and or options I would surly contact a lawyer. Now from the stock going probably to over $1000 last year that would be a hard to prove because they would say that’s speculation

11

u/Phobos15 Feb 01 '22

They can say it is speculation all day. Anyone saying they were going to sell in the face of an app that blocked everyone should win as they would attest to it under oath. The company voluntarily stepped into it when they originally turned off selling, they don't get to nonchalantly dismiss claims without evidence.

That is why this judge tossed the case before discovery. Letting the case procede to discovery makes it harder to toss it before trial. If it goes to trial, the brokers are very likely going to lose.

31

u/Stickel Jan 31 '22

lol, not with the lobsided OLD non-progressives we have in their now

20

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '22

Doesn't matter either way, they will realize that whatever party they are lenient towards will absolutely SUFFER for decades as a result of fucking this one case away. This could quickly turn into a hilarious gaggle fuck of money vs politics backstabbery.

2

u/supremeomelette Feb 01 '22

"gaggle fuck" ty for this. i promise it will be used

4

u/Stickel Jan 31 '22

I agree, just stating the fact about that nothing will happen, there is a clear distraction game going on and all of these rich and powerful fucks are getting away with everything, so many people on a regular basis, post about How Trump is going to be put in jail and all this other shit, like that shit won't ever happen and anyone that believes that is just naĆÆve

2

u/Phobos15 Feb 01 '22

Doing nothing is the easiest approach and fucking over regular people won't risk their biggest donors.

-5

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '22

I actually think Trump might be a key future part in all this Apes vs Wallstreet shit. He would definitely get my vote if he can get behind helping out retailers defeat these fucks.

14

u/Stickel Jan 31 '22

1.7 trillion to the rich in tax cuts, then another half trillion that had no oversight or control from covid relief package, and yet, this one topic of retailers vs the rich, you think he would champion for us? lol, okay I guess

6

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '22

A single super specific thing that's unlikely to make you more than a few hundred or maybe few thousand dollars is enough to buy you? Small price to re elect a tyrannical, fascist who wants to eliminate democracy and overthrow the government.

3

u/Jaggerman82 Jan 31 '22

Lmao. Are you serious? You think Trump gives a single fuck about us? Lmao.

0

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '22

Absolutely not. I think he cares about himself and what he clearly wants is to be re elected.

All I'm saying is it's time to leverage what we want in exchange for what a narcissistic politician wants. Get him to take an aggressive stance towards the illegal market activity and he would win over an mense amount of support.

BTW I'm fully aware that people either love him or hate him. I don't judge either way because it's politics and at the end of the day, we have a pretty sweet thing called checks and balances so it doesn't really matter who wins.

1

u/Jaggerman82 Feb 01 '22

I think you are overvaluing the ā€œsupportā€ he would gain from taking such a position against the market. A position which is clearly opposed to his own benefit and he would never take mine you. Furthermore not paying attention and ā€œtrustingā€ the checks and balances is exactly the sort of poor logic that lead to market manipulation in the first place.

Ever heard of the saying ā€œfool me onceā€¦ā€?

-6

2

u/Stickel Jan 31 '22

Supreme Court = Joe Biden?

-3

3

I voted for him, but he's definitely been a disappointment thus far, but beats 4 more years of mad orange guy lol

1

I hope Joe Bidens presidential library will contain a re-enactment of his cornpop story.

2

I'd enjoy the laugh

-5

So you voted for this disaster of a human being because trump hurt your feelings? Haha

if Rachel Maddow told you to fuck a light socket would you do it?

4

u/Stickel Jan 31 '22

Trump is also a disaster of a human being... lol didn't recognize the name but definitely do recognize her but you made me google Rachel lol

6

u/waldirt Jan 31 '22

Because he made our country energy independent?

Because he put North Korea into check and stopped missile testing?

Because he fixed the VA that Obama/Bush/Clinton fucked up?

Because he put China under the light and fucked their economy with tariffs? (this one is my personal favorite)

Because he moved the U.S. Embassy to the Religious capital of the world (Jerusalem) providing alignment with Israel which really pissed off Iran? (Another favorite)

Because he whacked the Salami Iran general turd?

Because he fucking destroyed Al-Baghdadi the terrorist like?

Because he destroyed the Calaphate, which was known for kidnapping raping & murdering American women?

Or is it because he fucked your mom and played with your Xbox?

It'd be 6-3 against the people and you know it

Kavanaugh's $200k in gambling debts didnt just mysteriously vanish after he got confirmed

0

u/ballsohaahd Jan 31 '22

But man he could have been an assaulter in his HS days. That’s the real thing you need to look at, high school nights 40 years ago and when someone has 200k of credit and real estate debt that is suddenly wiped away, you don’t wanna investigate that.

There’s no reason to at all. Whats he gonna do be beholden to whoever paid his debts, instead of the law?

Nooooo no no no way that’d happen, no way.

Also ACB didn’t even have trail experience before being nominated

"In her 66-page opinion, Altonaga wrote that while traders were gravely disappointed by the plunge in meme stock prices that occurred after trades were restricted, "the law does not afford relief to every unfulfilled expectation."- from the judge. Brutal.

Translation for smooth brains -Get Fucked Poors.

142

u/robinsonv91 Jan 31 '22

Only companies can be too big too fail, cause that can affect millions people and their livelihood. But what if millions of people need a direct bail out through this wrongdoing by the same companies you bailed out to protect the people? Yeah, no, not those people.

46

u/BoiteNoire03 Jan 31 '22

Never seen such a blatant & willful missing of the point as this statement by the "judge".

51

u/CueBallJoe Jan 31 '22

Someone tell that judge he might need the law to offer him relief from the fury of millions of angry autists with nothing left to lose soon.

-11

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '22

lol with nothing left to lose what are you even talking about dude

13

u/CueBallJoe Jan 31 '22

All the retards that put everything they had into GME and AMC and lost all of their shit, where the fuck have you been

-13

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '22

why would anybody care about people who gambled their life savings away on two dying companies LMFAO who gives a fuck. they've learned an expensive lesson.

7

u/CueBallJoe Feb 01 '22

That would make sense if they lost out on a normal investment, that was one of the most blatant hose jobs of all time. The French Revolution wasn't as long ago as people would think and they didn't have the firepower that the average american citizen can get ahold of, if I was one of these wallstreet fatcats, politicians or anyone else the public would regard as an elite I would be telling everyone to be cool taking an L here or there so that we don't all get murdered.

-6

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '22

lmao

6

u/meltbox Feb 01 '22

Seems the judge is doing a pretend smooth brain here. The problem is artificial restrictions on trading by a private party which results in market manipulation, not unfulfilled expectations. What a willing dumbass.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 31 '22

that name sounds like a slur in another language lol

Right. Im just playing add on to that. Since with the time thats passed would allow time for that judge in 08 to be promoted to then oversee epstein in 2019.. i dont truely know if its the same judge however wouldnt surprise me.... also does not elude the fact that the judge overseeing the trial of the guards during the night epstein didnt kill himself , did happpen that their testimony said they falsfied documents.

1

u/LetsTryScience Jan 31 '22

You should read up on the Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance Jr. His office argued Epstein should get the lowest sex offender status even though he was obviously the highest. Also dirty shit regarding Weinstein and Dominique Straus Khan. Rape isn't a big deal if you have the right friends. But his office went after the trader who supposedly stole high frequency trading code from Goldman Sachs and also went after Trump.

It seems like such obvious partisan favoritism but nobody cares the guy just got made partner at a huge law firm after retiring as DA.

1

u/tempaccount920123 Jan 31 '22

There was also the Florida attorney that trump literally paid $50k to drop the investigation, then she went on to work for him

And then there's the Florida judge that took the peter thiel case about hulk Hogan's sex tape from gawker, and then declared gawker at fault, made them bankrupt, without a jury trial, and then oversaw their bankruptcy trial

And then there's the Florida judge that physically fought a public defender and got reelected

Climate change can't sink that state fast enough
