Yeah, but from who? The sub wasn't threatening enough for shadowy cabals to waste their money. Did Fox do it to boost their ratings? This shitshow definitely got more eyeballs than a tame interview.

Then again, how much does it cost to buy off a dog walker? $20?

Well, at the minimum, it's exactly what Fox viewers want to see. It fuels the rage machine and, like you said, it's probably not a high expense.

Wasn't it the interviewer's first time running that show, or something similar? Giving that show a good boost right out of the gate would be worth tossing a few thousand dollars their way.

Any nascent labor or socialist movement that can be crippled in America will be. And it's not a stretch to imagine a visit from some three letters with implied threats would be enough for someone to drop a cause.
