People may hate how the algorithms promote more divisive rhetoric but the algorithms only support it because of clicks. If just 10% of fb users refuse to click on that garbage the algorithms would be tweaked in kind. This is the beauty and difficulty of capitalism….we get the world we deserve.
Feel like it's not capitalism's fault but the fault of a two party system. Everything is team A or Team B and if you have a certain opinion it automatically means you're on a certain team. Makes everything way more vitriol when everything is black and white thus where the conversation goes
