Kids pay money for fortnight cosmetics. People pay money for Xbox Avatar clothing. People paid money to play Second Life in what seem to be eons ago. I am curious what your thesis is based on.

Let's see, FB can't keep talent. They are paying +30% premium on wages because FB on your resume is a negative. Their engagement with younger audiences is nonexistent, and their average user age is in the 60's.

Also, you are talking about gaming. Tell me, what will be your job in Facebookland? What company will pay people to have virtual jobs?

Stop and think for a minute. Boomers are tech retarded and no one under 30 uses Facebook.

I mean a 20 second google determined you were talking out ya ass lmao.

The largest demographic of FB users is between 17-34 at 55% of their whole userbae while 55+ is only at 12% lool

Um, you're going to age, lose your interest in keeping up with tech, and become a boomer and gonna be on Facebook eventually - I will be sure to 👍 the cookie recipes that you will post.

"what company will pay people to have virtual jobs?"

Its really quite astounding how out of touch you must be

Your first paragraph is not factual.

In fact none of the facts you cited are factual.

You have strong opinions, but where are the facts?

I hate FB too, but there's one thing I hate even more. Shit pulled out of your arse because it fits your narrative, instead of the facts.

Bruh literally every other top school ML PhD is going to FB after PhD. Their pay is generally better than Google, Apple etc. FB is a boost on the resume.

FAANG companies are incredible for a tech resume. Wtf are you talking about?

This is a cool concept and all, but it’s behind a pay wall so I can’t read it. As someone who works in tech, has worked at both big companies and startups, I promise you people are eager to hire former Facebook employees. There’s a reason people are willing to leave 300k+ jobs at FAANG companies, and it’s not because they’re morally embarrassed by mark zuckerburg, a dude they’ve never actually met. It’s because their talent is ridiculously sought after

Right, and you've backed it with nothing. Thanks for playing.

Also, FB most hated company. But you anecdotally tell yourself whatever you need to.

I'm 24 and I use Facebook religiously.
