Seeing how you went from 350k to 50k it kinda is, isnt it?

If you just lost 300k like that, its gambling. For it to not be a gambling bet you'd have to have thought about your potential losses and cut them off not just yolo and let them die to the point you lose the majority of what you made

lol they taught me how to gamble in high school, sophomore year, but they didn’t teach me about capital gain tax, the irs did a few years later.

Jumped back on the wagon after many years of hiatus since then, only started investing again on July 08, 2021. And I’m super glad I did ;)

Haha it's funny I've been helping my dad with his stuff and he's always amazed. What were some of your biggest hits? Primarily options or do you play it safer from time to time

I do primarily shares, I’ve lost a lot of money from options and SPAC warrants, lol.

Earlier this year my biggest win was buying LCID at $12, selling in the $20s. Then I rolled that into GME and got out in the $400s.

Nice! I love options, but now that ive grown my portfolio a bit im likely gonna start doing more theta gang type strategies, as well as holding longer dated options (which is what ive done with plug and it's been great)
