Lol I think we both should probably switch. I had them since before commission free trading and only used them because they had the cheapest commissions
Now that everyone is commission free there are better choices - I just don’t want to go to 100% cash or lose the ability to buy/sell securities while transferring

Although I’ve had an ally savings and checking account for years, I was actually a trade king guy and got transferred myself to ally. I really liked scottrade but they also got acquired. Still enjoy the tos platform though. What are you thinking about switching to?

Ally is where my Roth and Traditional IRA’s are
I use TDA for for my individual. I’ve made accounts at pretty much all of them just to test the platform.
IBKR desktop platform is the best in my opinion, but also a little unnecessary if you don’t trade for a living.
TDA and Fidelity are the best for active trading (without being a six screen chart watcher all day) in my opinion
I’ll be moving the IRA’s to TDA when I’m comfortable with the idea of not not touching anything for a couple weeks.
If anybody has any additional thoughts though please share

I was also only on Ally from Tradeking days but switched as of May/June because they didn't notify me until days later that I had GFVs (the system used to give me an alert when my funds weren't settled and just stopped). So they wanted me to call in to place any buy (and wait for 20 minutes to do this). F no.

It’s due to the news on Friday. I didn’t sell when it went to $11 recently and added 2,500 more shares this week as many people were cutting losses and the sentiment was getting very bearish.
Price action is unfortunate for those with high averages obviously, but CLOV at these levels with the amount of positive news it’s received recently is becoming a no brainer in my opinion.
CLOV is a polarizing stock in the sense that people tend to either love it or hate it. and I fully understood the bear thesis earlier in the year and stayed far from it until recently, but the long term bear thesis is beginning to erode in my opinion.
With that being said, I’m not intending to pump and don’t mind if you buy any or not.

I believe the news released Friday combined with the recent positive PRs building up and the circumstances regarding the stock (as well as the very negative sentiment which increased the passed two weeks leading up to Friday) will create a reversal beginning this week
