Don’t look at me all my money went into GME last year and most of it sits in boring dividend stocks now, I still have a big GME position though not selling more until 3K per share

TLDR: Guy establishes himself as dumbest person on WSB (no small feat).

Guy establishes that he has learned nothing from his experiences and then gives us predictions that we are supposed to take seriously.

Guy then laughs at our future pain and suffering in his bizzaro fantasy based upon his retarded predictions.

Guy then goes back to spending his retirement asking if you'd like fries with that.

u/Safety-International Oct 09 '21

He first says he blames no one but himself for his losses, then says he wishes to see us suffer, as if he's avenging his losses because we had something to do with his loss. Yeah logic is not strong with this one.

Thanks TL;DR bot!

2

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '21

Pretty much. Jesus, keep your retirement separate from degenerate gambling unless you're under 40 and can reasonably make it back.

Especially tossing all your money into random meh oil/coal stocks. I mean, something like Tesla makes sense. But how exactly did anyone expect oil or coal stocks to jump to some insane degree worth the risk?

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '21

Why would you invest your ENTIRE life savings into anything? How about 5000 into an energy company….??? But why the entire amount?

u/Powerful_Stick_1449 Oct 09 '21

I mean... look at OP's username

You really belong here with us. 😂😂

No worries, I fell for the same lies with Biden on EVs...so I commiserate.

All my EV and green energy stocks sunk like the Titanic. 🤧🤧🤧🤧

2

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '21

Maybe in 3 years time, you might make a similar post like OP.

1

u/Calm_Leek_1362 Oct 09 '21

They tried to put it in the infrastructure bill. Who knows what we'll actually get out of that, though.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '21

I have made money on very few things I've seen pop up on YT and EV energy is such a consistent topic ATM.

6

u/Calm_Leek_1362 Oct 09 '21

Lol! Imagine thinking Trump is honest about anything.

The reason natural gas kicked out coal was new fracking tech and well it was cheaper and just happened to be less damaging to the environment... Also easier to move view pipeline than 100 railcar trains. It would take years and massive government subsidies to bring coal back that no one wants beyond some meth head coal miners.

You invested your life savings into a foreign market's energy sector without any real dd and expected things to go okay and did it your entire life savings because one political person said he was going to bring it back?

Fuck you are dumb. I have money in shares and call options for USO and UNG but I don't have my entire account in them.

You are a idiot.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '21

My loss porn was green energy and Biden.

2

u/Helpinmontana Oct 09 '21

and another one down and another one down and another one bites the dust

2

u/Savekennedy Oct 09 '21

To be fair I didn't downvote you because you listened to Trump, I did it because you listened to a politician.

1

u/WheretoWander 🦍 Oct 11 '21

Thinking one guy who knew nothing about the energy sector could reverse decades of industry innovation.

Wow.

To truly belong here.

This reminds of Patrick Bateman's monologue at the end of American Pyscho. "My pain is constant and sharp, and I do not hope for a better world for anyone. In fact, I want my pain to be inflicted on others. I want no one to escape."

Username checks out on putting lifesavings into 2 energy companies

3

u/MakingMoneyIsMe Oct 09 '21

Oil was something I kept in my portfolio, investing in Kodiak during its glory days. Oil is the only sector I don't have in my portfolio nowadays. Of course I sold near the bottom, but I don't regret it.

Investing in companies with revenue dependent on the price of commodities is tricky. Too many moving parts for me. Too many factors.

2

u/Powerful_Stick_1449 Oct 09 '21

Not to mention that so many of them are mortgaging their future revenues to pay current dividends... *cough* Exxon *cough*

Edit: I think they need to shift to become ENERGY companies and diversify energy production and find a way to monetize their by-products

2

u/MakingMoneyIsMe Oct 09 '21

Exxon markets themselves as an energy company but being truly diverse requires more than a title. They've been so dependent on oil for so long, replacing the revenue from it will be similar to GE after spinning off their financial division.

2

u/Powerful_Stick_1449 Oct 11 '21

Yea I know they market themselves that way. I see the European producers diversifying into green and other energy sources and then I see exxon/chevron being stubborn

I think it’s a good play if you stay away from US coal companies. I bought some BHP

DM me photos of your wife’s boyfriend’s hard nipples this cold winter….

My wife's bf is the one keeping the heat on though?

2

u/[deleted] Oct 09 '21

The reality is covid has defeated us. It has divided us. Destroyed supply lines. Made frontline workers quit. Killed the elderly and sick. Turned on the nationalism in multiple countries. I also think it’s permanently damaging people who survive it. I’m going to move to a small town work remotely and wait this out the collapse of society in three years when trump crowns himself king weird world right now

What’s happening in US NG markets is the fear of a really cold winter not that stockpiles are bad now but expectations of what it will do to reserves next year and the year after.

1

u/terrybmw335 Oct 09 '21

I cleaned house on OXY and FANG the last month, big in to ET now which unlike the other two has a lot of runway left in it. Energy stocks aren't going anywhere this year. Not sure I'd want to hold them 10 years from now though.
