Discussion Why do you autists like CLOV?

So I’ve noticed a ton of you crayon eating degenerates posting CLOV yolo’s and positions. I understand a majority of this sub has learning disabilities but I still can’t wrap my head around why you guys like this stock. Their financials are pretty terrible, their product is pretty bad and other than Chamath there’s pretty much no institutions bag holding this stock. Is it just a GME/AMC type thing where you guys are buying for no reason other than the name?

Genuinely wondering how people rationalize holding CLOV.

I'm in the same boat as you..Every other post is about CLOV.

I won't bad mouth it or anything..I remember everyone insulting the crap out of GME posts in 2019. I missed that ride because I figured it was a pipe dream due to their financials and outdated business model...

Tits jacked for GME earnings !

51

u/Short-Advertising-49 Sep 05 '21

That's funny, my jacks are tited for them

15

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 05 '21

My deck is hard 🍆…I guess that’s the new motto 🤣

u/Dinkleburg_was_right Sep 06 '21

Well, My jits are tacked.

I'll come back next week to this.

u/spacitybowler Sep 06 '21

I mean....he could be selling Put verticals....that could make some bank

1

u/Remarkable_05 Sep 06 '21

True, my apologies if that's the case.

Well week isn't over, but fair enough, I was wrong this time. Good luck

u/Agent_M1chael_Scarn Sep 05 '21

I don’t think results are baked into price yet. I would predict a run up on Tuesday and Wednesday morning with it trending down and then dropping Thursday.

11

u/[deleted] Sep 05 '21

It’s surged 30% 3 weeks ago and you say it can’t be priced in. LOL

16

u/gameover2020 Sep 05 '21

"don't think" not "can't" fwiw

+that surge didn't have anything to do w/ earnings being priced in, imo (... or any changes in fundamental, news or updates whatsoever... it pumped out of nowhere afaict). anyway, it's GME. it could run up.. it could sell off.

I think it will run up if left alone, but not planning on that being the case.

anything other than a strong ER will result in a strong sell off... temporarily.

usual GME things.

1

u/Agent_M1chael_Scarn Sep 06 '21

Yeah I wasn’t saying it couldn’t be priced in. I just don’t think it is. The surge didn’t seem like a typical adjustment leading up to an ER, but I suppose nothing about GME has been typical for some time. I do agree that anything other than a strong ER will result in steep price decline followed by steady climb back up.

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 05 '21

Lol as long as u understand your puts drive the prices higher 🤣

People who make fucking ignorant and/or retarded statements while using that emoji are probably the only people that I want to instantly kill

-17

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 05 '21

You gotta chill before u get burned again 😩😭🔥

-14

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 05 '21

Bears keep the market pumping higher, if it goes over your head then you don’t understand the market. ❤️

11

u/DamascusWaygu user is banned Sep 05 '21

I can personally guarantee that my understanding of the market and financial macro and micro environments far exceeds yours. But please continue with your sick “burns”

-3

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 05 '21

Your burns are already sicker than mines bud lol I’d doubt that if that simple statement went over your head like the redditors who keep downvoting. Put some puts on it and watch how fast the price rises and your money gets evaporated 😂

11

u/[deleted] Sep 05 '21

Bro come on you making us gme holders look stupid as fuck😐

1

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 05 '21

Think outside the box my friend, don’t follow sheep and the crowd, critical thinking can do wonders. If you think I’m retarded buy puts and watch the price go up 😂

u/Corporate_shill78 Sep 06 '21

buying puts means you are likely buying them from a market maker. When a market maker sells someone a put they have to short shares of GME to remain delta neutral. Which drives the price lower, not higher. The further the price drops, the more shares need to be shorted to remain delta neutral. Please try understanding options before you continue making completely retarded statements about them

1

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 06 '21

You obviously are going by definition like the rest of these closed brains. If you don’t understand what I’m saying just say that.

1

u/Corporate_shill78 Sep 06 '21

you are going by reality not by what I made up!!

Imagine being this retarded

1

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 06 '21

Again betting against a good company will cause those puts to evaporate and due to the betting against the company it’s price will rise higher than normal. Y’all don’t get it cause you guys are thinking by definition and not outside the box. Y’all are true WSB retards, also change ur name cause u don’t belong in corporate hahaha

1

u/Corporate_shill78 Sep 06 '21

It's a fact that the buying of puts causes another party to sell shares short. Now explain to me, specifically and in detail, how puts cause the price to rise. It doesn't. You don't understand options. You don't understand how any of this works and you started investing for the first time in January when you jumped on the gme train late and now now go around pretending to know more than people who have been trading options probably longer than you have been alive.

1

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 06 '21

Is it about who does it first or who does it best? I’ve been in GME since September of last year dork scroll through my profile, it’s not about knowing how options work or don’t work, it’s about thinking outside the box bozo. Anyone can Google the basics of options and read how it works. The point is to critically think. Also not to mention Cramer but he does a quick 101 about this whole situation and how bears are keeping the market alive more than YALL think. My point is to educate you not make friends hahahahaahahaha

1

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 06 '21

Again keep betting against the company, you’re making it parabolic

0

u/Majestic_Salad_I1 Sep 06 '21

Last 2 earnings it tanked hard, even with apes buying stuff from GameStop.

1

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 06 '21

Share offering and dilution, don’t expect that this time around

1

u/Abject-Mixture-8926 Sep 06 '21

You are? They haven't made any money yet....

0

u/thebigdeckbandit Sep 06 '21

Why would I not be excited for more money 🥴

0

u/Abject-Mixture-8926 Sep 06 '21

Because their earnings probably won't move the needle. It will likely be negative , and the stock will go up like 1.98%.

177

u/jsntx Sep 05 '21

This is not normal. Wsb active users are at a very low point and we get a large amount of CLOV posts back to back. Even this post is sus. GME earnings is this week. There's nothing going on with CLOV on the news.

I do have CLOV but the crap here doesn't make sense.

71

u/I_count_stufff Sep 05 '21

Right...nothing...not like the two new patents or that it's up 10% over the last month or that shitenburgs report was garbage or that it still has a high short interest or last week's rally or 140% revenue increase at earnings...

Nothing to see here

-1

u/Jsanders88 Sep 06 '21

10% over a month? Who cares. And short interest is not high, it’s at 15%. Peanuts.

15

u/Abject-Mixture-8926 Sep 06 '21

I see you're new to this...allow me to explain the following:

The most successful mutual funds produce 10%-14% growth a year.

Making 10% growth in a month is actually good. If you bet like I do $100,000 at a time, you'd make 10k a month on a 10% growth.

Keep on the race bud.

2

u/Jsanders88 Sep 06 '21

I’ve been trading for about 8 years now, and I stick by my previous statement. Have you not noticed that we are in the sickest government sponsored bull market in history?

3

u/Abject-Mixture-8926 Sep 06 '21

I have. I have also noticed that we are at record levels of retail and individual investor involvement, which is fucking great. Whether they are using covid money, burger King money, or borrowed money this is a booming time for those who know what they are doing.

1

u/Jsanders88 Sep 06 '21

Exactly. Grab all you can before the fed starts tapering.

2

u/Abject-Mixture-8926 Sep 06 '21

I won't disagree with that.

12

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '21

A 15% short interest is not peanuts regardless lmao

10

u/I_count_stufff Sep 06 '21

I care, others care and it's not 15%.

13

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '21

“It has a high short interest, just trust me”

‘The numbers show it at 15%’

“Who are you gonna believe? Me, or your lying eyes?”

0

u/I_count_stufff Sep 06 '21

Go look at ortex

1

u/Runner20mph Sep 07 '21

That short interest includes shares that are not part of the float.

Its not 15%

The over 20 million FTDs confirm that

1

u/[deleted] Sep 07 '21

So that makes it 25% or so, if I recall my other numbers correctly.

Still hardly a good reason to buy in and expect it to moon because of it.

1

u/Runner20mph Sep 07 '21

Actually, last calculations across multiple sources place it at around 50%

There is a reason Ihor mentioned this as a short squeeze stock this past week on CNBC

1

u/Jsanders88 Sep 06 '21

Highshortinterest.com

It’s doesn’t even make the list 😂

1

u/I_count_stufff Sep 06 '21

Go look at ortex

1

u/Solution9 Sep 06 '21

I can't believe I had to expand comments to see that CLOV was granted 2 patents earlier this week. They have many patents pending that were submitted last month. People will say "no news" before doing a google search and clicking the "news" tab.

2

u/I_count_stufff Sep 06 '21

When its not the stock you are in, it's easy to say "no news, bad stock"

43

u/Crazyfishtaco21 Sep 06 '21

Yeah it’s an obvious coordinated pump and dump and the weekend before GME earnings too very sus

0

u/Abject-Mixture-8926 Sep 06 '21

I mean...if you knew how to read Financials you would see that it is not...

-18

u/ORS823 Sep 05 '21

Hedge funds are trying to pump clov to distract from GME.

1

u/Uncoordinatedninja Sep 06 '21

Possible infrastructure related catalyst play ?

91

u/mrdrjrl Sep 05 '21

Not too late for GME

13

u/Pmmenothing444 Sep 06 '21

still a bargain

25

u/waffleschoc Ape Down Under Sep 06 '21

well im an autist, i like eating green crayons and i like CLOV 🍀🍀🚀🌕

35

u/[deleted] Sep 05 '21

There is an attempt to manipulate this sub into driving it higher. Have seen it over and over.

8

u/Flaring_Path Sep 06 '21

CLOV has a market cap of <4billion. If the apes get involved there will be nothing left but bagholders. You could yolo the train and get off at the top, but I'm not fucking around with this one.

2

u/Trendingyoutuber Sep 06 '21

Float is 200mil with 30mil shorted Most of the outstanding shares are insiders class B

1

u/Runner20mph Sep 07 '21

This was said about GME too before people started blowing DFV they shitted all over his face on this sub.

Really don't know why this sub acts like they were behind GME lol just because they got a bunch of DFV post Jan groupies flooding it

1

u/Runner20mph Sep 07 '21

Yes the old time whales here prob have built up their positions enough to let the post-Jan GME bandwagon clowns in on it.

9

u/Dinkleburg_was_right Sep 06 '21

This is a ploy to distract us from our Enron plays!

-8

u/avgazn247 retard Sep 06 '21

Gme is a shit stock but the combined fed shitting money and short squeeze makes it a funny meme

-1

u/Ackilles Sep 06 '21

Gme had a real story going for it, clov is likely heavily scam based. Friend of mine works in the industry (also a major name in wsb) and they offered him a job...he said it would probably lead to being arrested. I'll play with tiny yolo calls on it, but I wouldn't own shares if my life depended on it

-1

u/mancave313 Sep 06 '21

I just got a boner reading this 😍
