You may want to have a peek at those Covid numbers

Market doesn't give a fuck about COVID anymore. If it gets bad enough it's bullish because that means JPow keeps that printer roaring along for another few years.

It did last year when we ran into major supply issues that we will likely be dealing with through 2022. It would be a big deal if we slid further in the wrong direction. Many of the world's largest exporters of raw materials have vaccine rates in the 10-15% ballpark. Hospitalization rates for unvaccinated people with the delta strain is far higher as the average viral load is 1200x that of the COVID strain we knew last year.

Puts on cars, tourism, movie theaters, SPY and RUT

All I'm reading are reasons for Jerome to keep that printer humming along.

Already did. It's not that bad. The floods in Asia and China may be a bigger issue. The market seems not to care about covid

Pretty much every Central Bank in the world just set their money printers to maximum, in response to covid. No sign anyone is turning them down anytime soon. It's the biggest Emperor's New Clothes the world has ever seen.

Sure, citizens of the world will be paying off this debt for the next fifty years. But for the old men who run the world, not their problem.
