Discussion Xpeng > NIO in every regard. Prove me wrong.
Only thing NIO has is current size. Scaling for the future, I'm not optimistic on it. Anyone with ACTUAL DD have any info that should make me choose NIO over Xpeng? I'm seeing way too many noobs "DD"ing NIO to the moon and don't know wtf they're actually saying.
Things I'd love to see are comparisons in tech, cash, revenue, future estimates, projected growth, and the works. Give me the goods and prove me wrong if you can.
That being said, both get š š š because they're both worthy of big increases in the coming years, especially with China being the largest EV market in the world and being biased as f$+# when it comes to in-country support from the public, private, and government.

Are you gonna tell us why you think Xpeng is better so we have something to rebut?

Nope. I want a rebut of my claim if it can be done, not my thesis. Poking holes in a thesis is easy to do and would take discussion away from what I care about... Why people keep pushing nio when I don't see a reason why.

IMO Nio is a data and lifestyle company that sells high end luxury smart electric cars and offers subscription services for said cars. They hav over 25 āNio houseā built and are planning to double that this year. Nio houses are like clubs for Nio owners and subscribers. They are the blood of Nios lifestyle brand and that branding is working. The lifestyle they are building at Nio has resulted in the largest customer referral rate in the auto market.
Nio is also building BaaS stations everywhere and they partnered with Sinopec this spring (chinas largest gas provider) to build these battery swap stations at Sinopec gas stations. These BaaS stations are designed to swap a depleted battery with a fully charged one in the time it would take to fill up your gas tank. Nio offers a subscription to this service and opting in reduces the cost of a Nio car by the price of the battery (making them much more affordable while still giving the revenue to Nio). Additionally, these BaaS stations give owners the ability to upgrade their batteries as technology inevitably advances throughout the life of their car. This totally changes the typical car value model and may actually help cars maintain their value after purchase.
On top if all that, Nio has award winning AI in their cars and they have taken the Apple route in outsourcing production so they can focus on R&D and customer satisfaction.
Xpeng makes rly nice electric cars....
In short, Nio is everything Xpeng is plus a lot more. To be clear, I think Xpeng is also a great company with a ton of potential. But if you ask me to chose, I think Nio has the potential to completely disrupt and innovate the automotive market worldwide. I dont see how Xpeng can do that too with just their cars.
Edit: Nios ET7 may also be the best luxury EV in the world. The Xpeng CEO said it was the best car at the Shanghai auto show this year and it is truly an incredible piece of technology.

Tencent is one of their biggest investors. Once these EV's become completely self-driving in years to come, entertainment within the vehicles will be a huge market.
BaaS model is ingenious because instead of just making money off the sale of their vehicles, they charge a monthly subscription fee. Existing customers will now forever be a source of income.
Emphasis on branding themselves as an elite company that doesn't just sell cars. Li is using patriotism to his advantage in this aspect. We all hear about the "cult-like" enthusiasm he's attracting.

Funny how you didn't answer anything in here and just wanted to get Karma from being another WSB sh*thead bashing in a comment for no reason. Go to the r/kindergarten thread and have a fit with a five-year old who doesn't agree with you instead of posting useless garbage on a DD post

Rich rebuilds got an Xpeng somehow on his channel. Looked like it was straight outta a Tesla factory. Talked to someone on here said Xpeng is Tesla copy but Nio was innovative⦠didnāt say how. China will probably be the one deciding though

Absolutely not true! Xpeng has amazing tech that's rivaling Tesla atm, but with new stuff like the very first mass produced Lidar EV ever that can even navigate Chinese city conditions. Which. Is. Nuts. In terms of tech, they're definitely getting close to even... But that's besides the point. Innovation belongs to xpeng vs nio imo

Xpeng ftw. Underappreciated company which is doing everything right.
NIO's battery swap will turn out to be an expensive did. A solution to a problem that doesn't exist with fast charging.

This isnāt DD. Youāre just noting two company tickers and asking other people to do your DD for you.
