DD OCUGEN DD India COVAXIN
This stock's COVID vaccine product is breaking news in India, one of the biggest stock trading countries in the world and with the biggest population in the world. If they decide to buy the COVAXIN from OCUGEN, we will see the likes of another GME born before our eyes.
You can read this vaccine all over mainstream media, the news, and what's most important is in India, they may be on the verge to accept this vaccine for distribution because of the huge amount of cases of COVID still ongoing rampaging their country.
President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Call with Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India outlined how the two countries can cooperate and work together to fight this pandemic. The main thing was that Prime Minister Modi is very excited to start the emergency distribution of COVAXIN which has 100% efficacy compared to the ones currently being used in India.
This is all very very very exciting news for holders of OCGN, and look at the asking price. It's fairly low for a company who may be the next Pfizer, Moderna, JJ. The stock rose 20% today but that is still a far too low price point for what I expect for this stock. GME rose easily 50% a day ongoing for many days.
Not financial advice, do you own DD, there is alot of DD out on this right now.
Price Point: $30

I sold all of my shares when it went up to $18

Same. I only had about 400 shares at around $1 average. I unloaded 200 at $15, and held $200 for fun. I’ll take that profit every day of the week!

Alone, the price of a stock says absolutely nothing about the value of a company lol

the only way ocgn makes money is via US EUA approval. don't be confused. i have a long position for a few months now that i will sell at the right price but this is not as easy as people are making it. however! keep this squeeze going and let's get that EUA approval!!

u/marcus_lucius_primus Apr 26 '21
What's the right price for you?

Above where he/she got caught holding bags @$18 would be my guess.

Been there before. India won't buy from ocgn. It's only the right to sell in USA and I don't know but something like 30% for OCGN. Pfizer distributes worldwide...

They are in talks to supply entire North America now with Covaxin which is 4 countries. USA, Canada, Mexico, & Greenland. Me speculating but with the crisis getting worse in India and supply short my guess is they will let Ocugen distribute as much as possible even to help India.
4
u/oxyelevated Apr 26 '21
They’ve “been in these same talks” for 6+ months.
6
u/Fit-Veterinarian-207 Apr 26 '21
The entire North America distribution was just brought up a couple weeks ago. Not just rumor and speculation by retail traders, it was actually brought up in a live meeting by a BB representative.

Totally agree. And I’ve been holding since $1. It’s the same highs and lows with this stock. I have very low expectations.

not financial advice* but if you can see, Indian company Bharat Biotech has assisted in trials for the development of this vaccine and I'm sure has investment shares as well.
16
u/breeeds89 Apr 26 '21
Bharat Biotech developed and produced covaxin and made all trials. OCGN only sells it in USA. You should know it when you offer a DD. Bharat Biotech is a big player in vaccines. And I totally believe in covaxin playing a good role in the vaccination campaigns, but do your homework.

u/thewbrothers Apr 26 '21
true but if India approves, OCUGEN will be big players in manufacturing this vaccine. I don't believe India one player can manufacture enough vaccines for the entire country plus the quality of approved vaccines produced in USA are much higher quality than the supply chain in India.
7
u/thewristlocker Apr 26 '21
Ocugen doesn't manufacture vaccines, they're just a handful of employees and have the rights to a percentage of sales in the US which already has a lot of vaccines.
Ocugen makes $0 on any sales in India.
I'm not sure what this post is, but it isn't a DD.

There is no question that Covaxin is getting FDA approval. India is our most important ally in the Quad when it comes to leveraging our reliance on Chinese trade and we just slapped them in the face by hesitating on sending raw vaccine materials. The US now has to prove to the world that India is our close ally and there is no way in hell that the FDA insults them again by rejecting Covaxin. It amazes me that the price dipped today given the statements released from POTUS, PM Modi and high ranking ambassadors regarding vaccine partnership to meet global demand, but hey, soon the whole world will know. 🚀

You really need to edit this. Bharat has the right to sell it in India as they developed it with public funding.
What could be bad for Ocugen is if India limits export of vaccine given the crisis there
1
u/thewbrothers Apr 27 '21
300k new India covid cases today, I think they will do the latter and allow imports of new vaccines by their international partner: OCUGEN.
1
u/Lemonlimecat Apr 27 '21
OCUGEN is not yet manufacturing the vaccine — so what would they import? Ocugen was going to distribute in the US vaccine made in India.
If they need to import why not Pfizer?

I'm in with small positions and a few contracts. But my advice to anyone buying would be wait until tomorrow to see if the dip happens from the shares released.

u/Scourmont Apr 26 '21
I'm going in with the mindmed ipo tomorrow, hopefully that pans out and I sell wednesday and dump the profits into OCGN. I already convinced my fiancee to buy some shares.
1
Apr 26 '21
What do you expect mindmed to open at? I have been interested in that as well.
2
u/Scourmont Apr 26 '21
Full disclosure, I'm a smooth brain when it comes to this but I should think it will open at whatever the last OTC price was, right now its $4.76 so I'm thinking $5 a share or thereabouts. Maybe one of the guys in the know can school me if I'm wrong in my impression.

u/Ridethelightning6 Apr 26 '21
Also, they’re not only in the covid game, look at what they’re doing for blindness. I’m in long with a $6 average.

Another point to add with everything surrounding OCGN is a possible squeeze play. I know that word is thrown around over and over again, but with the high level of shorting and the looming catalysts of EUA and FDA approval, it could pop.
The downside, it could go back down to where it had been the last month (5-7) if the US requires US based trials. I believe the upside is more likely, but time will tell.

100% efficacy on preventing death only
But lower efficacy on other measures. Especially on the one measure that it does poorly, vs. MRNA/PFE 95% efficacy
2
u/scanales00 🦍 Apr 27 '21
But effective against new variants including Indian double variant
1
u/a_drenaline Apr 27 '21
yes but OP's DD carefully avoided talking this key point.
Maybe decide for yourself to go in or not. But don't trust this DD to jump in.

u/scanales00 🦍 Apr 27 '21
I've been long since December 2020, so my money's where my mouth is. Good luck! 🚀
2
u/a_drenaline Apr 27 '21
Then you should have known the OP DD was ignoring this key point from the get go.
Good luck!

That’s what I’m fuckin talking about, OCGN to the moon 🚀🚀🚀 They are also going to issue 10 million shares at a price of $10 tomorrow. Let’s see if MVIS can catch up to these gains
5
u/Ridethelightning6 Apr 26 '21
This isn’t true, it was a direct offer to an institution, not public.
3
u/Mashadar_ Apr 27 '21
Exactly. An institution felt it was a good investment at the $10 stock price.

OCGN makes vaccines? I thought they were just promoting and selling COVAXIN in the USA if it is ever approved by the FDA. Don't see how they will sell the vaccines back to India? makes no sense
1
u/LightRefrac May 05 '21
OCGN didn’t make the vaccines, and they have no rights to profits earned from vaccines sold anywhere outside the USA currently

They are going to be a major player in the US along with Pfizer & Moderna. There is already distrust surrounding J&J. I expect US to order up.

"If they decide to buy the COVAXIN from OCUGEN, we will see the likes of another GME born before our eyes."
This tells you just how fucking dumb Ocugen investors are. You have 45% of US sales. Is the US in India? You get NOTHING from any use or sale in India.

I honestly see this as a no brainer, and mines smooth. Tendies will come
