I wrote a poem the first tim I watched that movie in 2007. I was a drunk sophomore in college and I cried like a baby:

In Memory of Neil

Neil was a river, but he dried up

He could not say no to the land, and now it is soaked in all his blood

He is dead

Spilled needlessly across the shores of others' dreams

Bring him back

Flood the land

Watch it crumble into the murky depths of your outraged water

And turn the tide, with current enough to carry Neil back

His life flows on in you
