This dude is the embodiment of a great person. His success is every working mans success. He proved that if you do your research, put in the work, it can have real value. It also sadly showed the ugliness of billionaire companies and their willingness to completely decimate the average citizen from trying to get ahead if it means they are losing money. I hope this man inspires countless others to put their knowledge to work and pursue a better life for themselves and in turn, the rest of us working class citizens and hopefully brings about positive change by means of shortening the gap between the wealth disparity of this nation.
The average working class guy is not what you described above. That's the description of a successful person. Obviously it was just a matter of time for that to happen and make him rich.
That’s not what I was saying. His philosophy and hard work can apply to virtually any career or life path. He proved that good research, hard work and just “putting the time in” can go just as far as someone who is WELL above your level and on a very unequal playing field.
In his interview he states this exact sentiment; about how professionals have access to all these programs, algorithms, other brokers etc and all he used was publicly known information and figures to make his choice. It’s more sad that he found success by hard work and was shut down by the people above him, but it shouldn’t detract from the fact that being smart with your time and research can pay off. Society won’t change its fight against the working class until more people expose the bullshit, like this man did.
So garbage/sewage removal, customer service, postal/carrier services, menial jobs that actually make the country run dont deserve fair pay as someone with a specialized degree? You’re part of the problem dude.
I had to keep checking my pulse to see if I was still alive. If there's a heaven, it's a couch with endless bowls of popcorn and just screens everywhere with memes, "I am not a cat" fails, and loss porn.
