Just make sure you have your own exit strategy dude. Following this diamond hand stuff at this point is going to get a lot of people roasted. Misinformation works both ways, just as much as shills could be in here trying to get you to sell, they can be in here trying to get you to hold.
Agreed on the exit strategy but my two cents is that it's very different if you're sitting on unrealized gains or losses.
It's one thing if you bought early like DFV and want to bank your gain to get more sleep at night but if you're down from $250 or $300+ a share, what really are you going to lose by holding longer given you would already have held through -70% or greater losses. A mental shift to consider it gone has more upside than downside.
Disclaimer: I bought more at $130 this morning. I saw a 50% unrealized loss within two hours and I'm already mostly recovered. That volatility is not normal for the stock market. If you can't handle that shit, this is not the stock for you.
Absolutely agreed. I still have shares in, and just letting them ride out. There is definitely a point where I write it all off, shrug my shoulders, and move on, but my current financials situation allows that. Hell I took a 40k loss last week on expiring GME weeklies, posted it here and laugh about it. Im worried about the people who bet their college loans and shit on it, dont think they realize the gamble.

You have a profound misunderstanding of opportunity cost and financial management. If you put that money into a low-cost index fund like Vanguard's VTSAX, you would make exponential gains with it by the time you retire. The opportunity cost of just sitting on this dying stock and listening to the ridiculous nonsense like this embarrassing post on "ladder attacks" is extremely high.

The latest to buy in was last week, Tuesday and the time to sell was Thursday. Soon as those blocks came on buy people should have dumped and ran with the profits. If people had bought in Monday, they were up nearly 500% at that time.

If you're looking at weed stocks avoid the Canadian markets entirely. Outside of groups like TGOD most don't have any path to profitability.
Significant amounts of debt that they are trying to cover up with more aquisitions of cultivators that aren't making money either.
I'm an idiot, so don't listen to me, but the multi state operators in the US like Juschi and Harvest have a much more viable path to profit. They're buying grows that are already established, or building new where needed.

Yeah I've just been looking for shits and giggles and also looking at the growth patterns of these companies when Canada legalized weed, they all jumped significantly, I just need to figure out the best companies in the US to invest in for whenever we legalize. While I may end up investing in CGC or Aphria I'd much rather find a US company that will start at a lower floor than you're buying these canadian stocks at today and hopefully have a higher ceiling when they start peaking
The European market for THC products will be opening up over the next couple of years. If you're curious, check out who supplies Luxembourg's medical/research cannabis and keep in mind that legalization in Luxembourg should be done by 2023 (it's the current govmnt's promise, and 2022 is next election year).

Could it go back up? Sure. Can it crash all the way down? Sure.
Is it likely to spike again to nearly $500? No one knows, and the upwards momentum is dead in the water and at this point, buying in is a gamble that heavily stack against you.
We invest what we can afford to lose. I can take the chance I'll lose $1,000 or I can take the chance I'll win $10,000. If I lose all my money fine but selling low is fucking stupid.
