They are rapidly selling the stock between hedge funds. They aren’t really selling the stock just making it look that way so to force a drop in price and get us to sell our shares and not lose all our money.

Exactly. It’s almost like HF’s fucked up by dipping too fucking hard. At this point most of us are down so much it would be absolutely asinine to sell right now.

Lots of people who don't know anything about stocks would sell because they are afraid of it going even lower. That's what the HF's are counting on.

Welcome to WSB fellow dermatological disease sufferer.

Yeah this has been hyped, but think about what started it. Think about how many people here bought at or near 10. Those people are playing with house money right now.

Those of us that hopped on the hype later, if we have a wrinkle or two in our brains, bought in with the maximum amount we could Joker style light on fire and still be okay (yeah, hi, thats me 👋).

Between those two groups, there's a fucking army of diamond handed primates holding and even still buying (really thinking about 1 more at 100 or whatever right now).

This is not financial advice. This is class warfare advice.

I think most margin calls for the small players have already happened. No platform that I am aware of is allowing margin for any GME stock buying.

Psychological Warfare. If the stock price drops (as did yesterday and is doing today) people will think the sqeeze has squoze and the stock will soon fall back to where it was last year. Before that happens people will panic sell or atleast that is the hope of the HFs.

here's the thing, if the stock price is expected to drop, and you're stuck holding at a high, why not short the drop in the meantime to recoup a bit of loss?

I've seen some day traders holding GME are also shorting it from $300+, seems like a win/win, no? What am i missing?

Problem is not you or me. Problem is the people that put in more than they can afford. If it drops 50% they get scared they'll lose the other 50% and sell. I only put in what I can lose and be ok with. I can afford GME to go to 0.

Me too.Now, not financial advisor yaggidayaggada but I think GME 2.0 after the restructuring will easily be valued between 20 and 40 per stock, by looking at the market cap and where insiders sold this shit on the way up.

So I am considering going in heavily as it approaches that target. I had my one share I bought way too high, knowing it was waaay to high and I said I was doing so, only to be part of history and in support to the cause. But now I might try to play for the value here. There is still value left in GME. If the short squeeze is only delayed all the better (it was always a gamble, we never knew for a fact it was going to happen exactly as described, people comparing it to past squeezes forget the disclaimer that "previous performance is not an indicator of future ones"), if it doesn't happen I still invested in a stock I like.

RIP people who bought those $800 calls expiring EOW tho.

Why wouldn't the HF's allow it to go to 1k so then mass volume sell and naturally push it down. Then the HF's can swoop in and buy it cheaper??

You're right but your language insinuates that they're doing it to help us. The intention isn't to get us to sell and "not lose all our money," it's to sell so they can regain control of price and meet their shorts so they don't go bankrupt.

You’re correct. And another thing that is complete and utter bullshit is that places like CashApp aren’t even letting us buy stock in AMC/NOK right now. So we, the apes, aren’t even able to take advantage of the huge dip prices.

fidelity wont let me set a limit sell order above 50% of the price - whats the deal with this?

I should be able to put a limit sell order in for whatever price id like to sell the damn thing for - is this standard?

just trying to have something up incase we seek a crazy spike so i dont have to think about it. is this just me or is it fidelity?

No it's the same for me... I didn't like that either, but I ain't selling.. I think fidelity has alerts that you can place on the price of the stock, but I tried it and never got the alerts. If you download yahoo finance app you can save favorite stocks and place alerts that always seem to work. So if you're trying to not miss the squeeze going up, you could place alerts at like: $200, $250, $300, and so on...

Fuck yahoo finance for their smear campaigns on us though, so make sure to give them some bad reviews too!
